DORNBRACHT x JUNG
The collaboration between the brands DORNBRACHT and JUNG aims to combine the two manufacturers’ shared design expertise under the motto “Signature Design. Crafted in Finishes”. At the “light + building 2026” trade fair, JUNG unveiled the DORNBRACHT “Brushed Bronze” finish. This first joint finish marks the start of a collaboration linking JUNG’s switch ranges and DORNBRACHT’s fittings. The finish is brushed and made of real metal. This finish will also be available in small quantities as standard from June 2026. At Milan Design Week 2026, a further five joint finishes will be unveiled, developed specifically for larger projects.
Extended value: Consistency without compromise
Architects and interior designers often face the challenge of bringing together different trades and manufacturers to create a harmonious overall look. In bathrooms and kitchens in particular, taps, switches, fittings and lights come together – often with similar but uncoordinated finishes. This is precisely where the DORNBRACHT x JUNG collaboration comes in: A uniform finish simplifies planning, enhances the quality of the design and creates visible consistency within the space. Both companies are committed to expanding a network for cross-manufacturer, holistic design – an approach that JUNG has been practising for years, including through collaborations with Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®, and which is now being consistently developed further in partnership with the finish expert DORNBRACHT.
"Finishes are more than just a detail – they shape the perception and quality of a space. Our partnership is characterised by the highest standards in materials and craftsmanship, creating a harmonious overall look
that elevates architecture and interior design to a new level."
Caroline Schmitt, Managing Director, DORNBRACHT
Two brands, one finish
JUNG and DORNBRACHT combine their design expertise to create a cohesive material concept. Precisely coordinated metal finishes enable a consistent design across different trades. This results in harmonious details for architecture and interiors.
Metal as a defining design element
Metal has a distinctive influence on the atmosphere of a room. Brushed surfaces in bronze, brass or copper tones lend interiors depth, warmth and a tangible sense of quality. They are currently being deliberately favoured over smooth, neutral standard surfaces, enabling a sophisticated, long-lasting design that transcends different stylistic worlds.
The high-quality craftsmanship of real metal is part of both companies’ design DNA. As a luxury manufacturer, DORNBRACHT possesses many years of expertise in the development and finishing of high-quality metal surfaces, relying on precise processes such as PVD technology, which enables exact colour nuances and high durability. JUNG also brings deeply rooted expertise in metalworking to the table: As a premium manufacturer of modern building technology, the company has its roots in the metalworking trade and manufactures switches and sockets from real metals with the utmost precision. Elaborate manufacturing processes, handcrafted steps and a keen feel for the respective material characterise the quality of the products – and make metal, at both DORNBRACHT and JUNG, a deliberately chosen, design-defining element. To ensure a completely uniform appearance, the switches and sockets of JUNG’s LS series are coated at the DORNBRACHT factory and thus precisely matched to the surfaces of the fittings.
“When different areas of expertise come together, quality emerges at the points where they intersect. That is precisely where we see the value of manufacturer partnerships – in the precise interplay between materials, manufacturing and design.”
Deniz Turgut, Head of Marketing, JUNG
The JUNG range of DORNBRACHT finishes is available for the LS 990, LS 1912 and LS ZERO ranges, and in the JUNG HOME and KNX systems with F 40 and F 50.
New metal finishes
With six new metal finishes, JUNG is expanding its portfolio to include striking variants in PVD quality from DORNBRACHT. These precisely finished surfaces combine the highest standards with exceptional depth of colour and material. Perfectly matched to the LS series, they open up new design possibilities – ranging from striking and architectural to elegant and atmospheric. DORNBRACHT’s characteristic PVD colours bring a new dimension to interior design and enable a seamless coordination of switch design with high-quality bathroom and kitchen architecture.
Material
"JUNG finishes are processed at the DORNBRACHT factory and are designed for a minimum order quantity of 800 items per finish. This makes them particularly suitable for larger projects where the material is not used sporadically but plays a central role in the overall design. For designers, this means one thing above all: greater certainty in the details. They can rely on materials fitting together perfectly across the board. The same naturally applies to the brushed bronze finish, which can also be used in small quantities.”
