Intelligent electrical solutions with JUNG
JUNG at BAU 2025
At BAU 2025, the world's leading trade fair for architecture, materials and systems to be held from 13 to 17 January 2025 in Munich, electrical manufacturer JUNG will focus on the topic of building refurbishment. JUNG will therefore present products that offer special electrical installation solutions for the particular challenges of renovation projects. Intelligent building technology without wiring and surface-mounted solutions for minimal disruption to existing building fabric, including products made from recyclable or recycled materials. Visit JUNG in Hall C2, Stand 311.
MADE TO TOUCH JUNG switches are made to be touched. Switches define an important interface between people and buildings, they are part of everyday life and fundamental elements of the building infrastructure that make rooms accessible and convenient to use. The electrical manufacturer will invite visitors to try out the intelligent technology on site and experience the special features of the various designs and surfaces, including recycled plastic, real metal and the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier design colours. At BAU 2025, JUNG will focus on the special challenges of modernising electrical installations in renovation and conversion projects.
Solutions for existing buildings
The increasing importance of construction tasks in existing buildings reflects a rethink in the construction industry towards construction that is more resource-efficient, sustainable, creative and responsive to local conditions. This also poses special challenges for the use of new technologies and the complex building services tasks involved in the renovation and conversion of existing buildings.
At BAU 2025, JUNG will present innovative solutions for building refurbishment that are not only convincing in terms of technology, but also in terms of flexibility and sustainability. Under the motto MADE TO BE SMARTER, the electrical manufacturer will present the intelligent JUNG HOME system, in which existing switches and sockets can be easily replaced by networked JUNG HOME elements. The MADE TO BE FLEXIBLE range bundles other wireless solutions, such as wireless wall transmitters that combine EnOcean's self-powered energy harvesting with the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless transmission standard, enabling wireless control without cables or batteries. MADE TO STAND OUT showcases the LS CUBE and A CUBE surface-mounted ranges, which are ideal wherever flush-mounting is not possible or desirable in order to minimise the impact on the existing building fabric. JUNG also uses materials that conserve resources: The MADE OF RECYCLATE exhibition area will showcase frames and inserts made of recyclate. A total of more than 400 individual products, including frames, covers, rockers, sockets and push buttons from the A CREATION, A 550 and A FLOW switch ranges in matt anthracite, consist of 95% recyclate in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14021. Under MADE TO LAST, JUNG will also bundle products that have been awarded Cradle to Cradle certification and can be easily recycled at the end of their life cycle.
MADE TO BE SMARTER
A smart home for retrofitting: JUNG HOME is based on the conventional 230-volt installation that already exists in every building. Existing switches and sockets are simply replaced with intelligent JUNG HOME products. The devices are networked via Bluetooth® Mesh - without a server or the Internet and securely through automatic encryption.
MADE TO BE FLEXIBLE
No cable, no battery: JUNG wall-mounted transmitters can be installed wherever they are needed - no external power supply is required. JUNG offers wall-mounted transmitters with EnOcean technology, with Bluetooth® Low Energy and especially for the Philips Hue lighting system.
MADE TO STAND OUT
Surface-mounted ranges with a design factor: A CUBE and LS CUBE are stylish solutions for all areas where concealed installation is not possible or desired. From switches and sockets to multimedia connections and KNX push-buttons, the ranges can be used to cover a wide range of functions.
MADE OF RECYCLATE
Sustainable electrical installation: The design covers of the A CREATION, A 550, A Cube and A FLOW switch ranges in matt anthracite are made from 95% recycled material. The material is obtained by processing and recycling plastics. Hydroelectric energy is used in the production process to ensure sustainable production.
MADE TO LAST
Recyclable products: The LS 990, AS 500, A 550, A FLOW and A CREATION ranges in alpine white have been awarded the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) and Material Health certificates. The ranges are produced using renewable energies, can be separated by type and are therefore recyclable. JUNG is also the first manufacturer in the world to succeed in certifying complete KNX modules.
Together with its cooperation partners, JUNG at BAU 2025 is setting a clear signal for the future of building refurbishment and presenting innovative and flexible solutions that combine modern technology, sustainability and resource conservation - whether through intelligent, wireless systems, minimal intervention in the existing building fabric or the use of recycled materials. JUNG will show how technological innovations can be seamlessly integrated into existing buildings without changing their character, while at the same time meeting the demands for sustainability and durability: Made to be smarter. Made to be flexible. Made to last.
Cooperations
JUNG will be exhibiting at BAU in cooperation with other manufacturers:
FSB: Colour synergy at an installation height of 1050 mm
The network of Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier partners is growing – and so are the many possibilities for designing with colour. The light switch and door handle are located in close proximity to each other, both at an installation height of 1050 mm as standard. The LS 990 flat switch from JUNG can now enter into a colour symbiosis with the FSB 1267 lever handle, a homage to the model by Mies van der Rohe. The product classics from both manufacturers are uniformly available in the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours.
Siedle: Door communication – see who's at the door
For door communication, JUNG offers indoor stations with high-quality switch designs. Thanks to the cooperation with Siedle, the door communication system is now complete. Siedle supplies the systems for outdoor use, system extensions such as letterboxes, access control and lighting. All Siedle stations and JUNG indoor stations are compatible via the In-Home bus. That is what the "Siedle Systemtechnik" label stands for. Retrofitting is also possible.
ERCO: Setting the scene with light
The lighting concept for the JUNG stand at BAU 2025 has been developed and realised in cooperation with luminaire manufacturer ERCO. The "Light Factory" from Lüdenscheid has equipped the stand with innovative ceiling spotlights and floodlights for exhibition, museum and retail applications.
