ARCHITECTS, NOT ARCHITECTURE

Architects, not Architecture has been bringing what takes place behind the scene to the scene since 2015. The guests of each event are renowned architects who mention on their very personal career and what influenced and moved them. Personal experiences, emotional attitude and very own biography are in the foreground - without talking about their projects. JUNG is pleased to be one of the sponsors of the international AnA events.

20 YEARS OF HÄUSER AWARD

On 13 April 2023, the JUNG Elbgespräche celebrated the anniversary of the HÄUSER AWARD and invited guests to the Business Club Hamburg. The motto of the evening was "The best family homes".

DEUTSCHER LICHTDESIGN-PREIS 2022

On the evening of June 30 2022, the DEUTSCHER LICHTDESIGN-PREIS was presented in Hanover. Laudators, planners and industry representatives celebrated the winners of the 35 winning projects in eleven categories. JUNG is pleased to support this prestigious award as a passionate partner since 2021.

SOLAR DECATHLON EUROPE 21/22

JUNG is delighted to be supporting not just one but two student teams in this year's architecture faculties competition as part of the "Solar Decathlon Europe 21/22". With the RoofKIT project of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and coLLab project of the HFT in Stuttgart, two innovative buildings have been created that bring the climate-friendly construction of the future another step closer.

EUMIES AWARDS 2022

In mid-May, the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona hosted the Mies van der Rohe Awards 2022 ceremony. JUNG is proud since this year to be a partner to this renowned architecture prize, which is awarded by the European Union.

JUNG LOVES 2038

JUNG LOVES 2038 was the motto of the belated opening party of the German Pavilion at the Architecture Biennale 2021. Together with the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), the German exhibition curators of Team 2038 and the the Association of German Architects (BDA), JUNG invited to the event on the Lido di Venezia.

ATMOSPHERE – JUNG @ Clerkenwell 2025

During Clerkenwell Design Week 2025, JUNG transformed its London showroom into a multi-sensory experience space with the pop-up installation ATMOSPHERE. At the heart of the installation was an interactive sphere made of light switches, designed by the Ippolito Fleitz Group.

ATMOSPHERE – JUNG @ Fuorisalone 2025

The boundaries of space seem to dissolve. Mirrored surfaces fade out the real world, intensified by audiovisual impressions. In the centre is a sphere of light switches. The installation by Ippolito Fleitz Group abstracts the product world of JUNG and makes aspects tangible in a special way: atmosphere, emotions, individuality and participation. ATMOSPHERE invites you to an immersive experience of poetry, music and light at the Brera Design District from 7 to 13 April 2025.

SWITCH TO COLOUR - JUNG @ Clerkenwell 2023

At Clerkenwell Design Week 2023, the JUNG Brandstore London under the motto SWITCH TO COLOUR invited to discover, try out and experience. The colourful installation focused on the classic LS 990 switch in the 63 colours of Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier.

INVISIBLE – JUNG @ Fuorisalone 2023

The temporary JUNG installation INVISIBLE at Fuorisalone 2023 in the Brera Design District in Milan will immerse visitors in an abstract world of smart home technology from 17 to 23 April 2023. As a "unique" souvenir of the visit, JUNG has designed a POAP-NFT that you will receive on site.

FARBDURST - JUNG @ Fuorisalone 2022

Colour is alive, energetic, free. Colour has a body, an aura, a taste. Colour is joy, passion, magic and sensuality. The temporary installation FARBDURST (COLOUR THIRST) at Fuorisalone 2022 in the Brera Design District in Milan introduced visitors to the JUNG world of colours from 6 to 12 June 2022 with an unconventional and powerful reinterpretation of the theme of colour.

Clerkenwell Design Week has established itself as the leading independent design festival in the UK, attracting the international design community to this small district of London every year for three days of exciting events.

OTIUM - JUNG @ Casa Decor 2022

As part of Casa Decor 2022, from April 7 to May 22, a historic home on Madrid's Calle de Goya will be transformed for five weeks into a unique exhibition platform for architecture, interior decoration and design. JUNG, too, will be presenting itself together with renowned interior decorator Sara Folch. The jointly created installation is called "Otium".

As part of Milan Design Week 2019, JUNG attracted numerous curious visitors to the heart of the vibrant Brera Design District with its C H R O M A T I C installation.

During Milan Design Week 2018, we presented the installation "PLAY TO THE GALLERY" in the Brera Design District. The focus was on the 50th anniversary of the classic JUNG switch, the LS 990.

JUNG UNIQUE x Melon Breakers: Tangram in colours

How do rooms interact with us? With JUNG UNIQUE x Melon Breakers, switches become communication tools. Colour and shape provide orientation and convey atmosphere, making technology intuitive and easy to understand, whether it's in educational buildings or hotels.

JUNG UNIQUE x Ippolito Fleitz Group

The Ippolito Fleitz Group team abstracts the JUNG product world in an artistic way and makes aspects tangible that can hardly be conveyed with words. They create a spatial atmosphere and emotions. It is about individuality, participation and the identification with places.

JUNG UNIQUE x GRAFT

Kreuzberg, Wedding, Friedrichshain, Schöneberg, Mitte and Grunewald: the designs in the JUNG UNIQUE collection by Graft proudly bear the names of Berlin's districts. The switch collection, which was originally designed for the new GRAFT headquarters, is an ode to urban life and also creates unconventional statements outside of Berlin.

JUNG UNIQUE x STUDIO KOMO

With JUNG UNIQUE, switches and push-buttons become individual communication elements in the room. They convey information and provide orientation – in hotels, co-working spaces, conference rooms and public buildings such as schools and nurseries.

Communicating architecture to a broad public and preserving the values of architectural creation are core tasks of the European architectural institutions. We are happy to support them as a partner and thus promote the active discourse on building culture and urban planning.

DAM Preis – The best buildings in Germany

Since 2016, JUNG has been organising the DAM Preis for outstanding architecture in Germany together with the German Architecture Museum Frankfurt.

DAM PREIS FOR ARCHITECTURE IN GERMANY

Around 100 current building projects in Germany - from new buildings and reconstructions to residential and business ensembles to cultural and sports facilities, barns, depots and boathouses - are honoured annually by the German Architecture Museum (DAM) in Frankfurt am Main for their special contribution to German building culture.

DAM PREIS ONLINE ARCHIVE

Winners, finalists and nominees: The DAM Preis online archive documents the projects of the winners, finalists and shortlist participants of the respective competition year and provides a comprehensive overview of outstanding contemporary building culture in Germany.
