LS 1912 – the aesthetics of switching

Purist design and innovative strength have been combined at JUNG since 1912. With the LS 1912 toggle switch, we draw on this tradition and implement it in a contemporary form. The material and mechanics lend the LS 1912 switch a very particular charm. The toggle levers in aluminium, stainless steel, brass or chrome make it possible to relive the mechanics of switching. The LS 1912 toggle switch unifies a classic switch feeling with the technical demands of today. With the matt colours graphite black and snow white, JUNG has extended the toggle switch in metal with a special feel. LS 1912 thus makes itself suitable for timeless and above all minimalist interior design.

LS 1912 with cylindrical toggle lever

For the LS 1912, toggle levers, centre plates and switch mechanisms were developed in a modular system so that no screws are visible after fastening. Only the toggle lever stands out from the unit as a particular style element. The LS 1912 with cylindrical toggle lever is available in classic brass, stainless steel, aluminium and dark.

LS 1912 with cone-shaped toggle lever

LS 1912 with cone-shaped toggle lever is likewise available in brass, classic, stainless steel, aluminium and dark. The stainless steel switches are shot-blasted with glass beads; the versions in aluminium are pickled matt. LS 1912 in dark is based on aluminium and is lacquered in an elegant, dark brown.

The cube version is specifically matched to the material. The base material of the LS 1912 switches in chrome is brass. With the perfect finishing, JUNG sets standards in the manufacture of these high-quality switches. For the LS 1912 in chrome, the toggle lever is cubic.

LS 1912 with LED indicator lamp

Restrained but still easily visible: the LS 1912 is also available with LED indicator lamp. The red LED integrated into the toggle lever signals the switch status and also indicates the way to the light switch in an instant.

Functional diversity

LS 1912 unifies excellent design with functional diversity and can be used as a switch, push-button or multi push-button. Mounting is possible in all versions with multiple frames both horizontally and vertically.

Switch
LS 1912 switches the lighting by operating the toggle lever downwards (switch on) or upwards (switch off). The toggle lever remains in the switched position.

Push-button
If the LS 1912 is installed as a toggle push-button, the toggle lever automatically returns to the original position after switching the lighting on and off.

Multi-switch push-button

The multi push-button insert extends LS 1912 by an additional toggle switch position. This makes the LS 1912 with multi push-button insert particularly suited as a control push-button for relay connections. This makes blind control with slat adjusting possible, for example.

With the multi push-button insert and the KNX push-button interface, the LS 1912 becomes a KNX control unit. The combination of the devices covers many functions. For mounting behind the flush-mounted insert, a deep installation box is necessary. With LS 1912 as a KNX push-button, smart functions can be harmoniously integrated into a classic ambience. Mounting in multiple combinations is possible.

Cover hood for LS 1912

Plastic cover for the LS 1912 programme
The transparent cover hood protects mounted switches, sockets, toggle switches, rotary dimmers and many other products from LS 1912 ranges from contamination and damage on the building site.
The cover hood has a range of uses and ensures reliable functionality and an undamaged surface of the switch. It is simply pushed on and can be removed without a sign it was there. The material can be fully recycled. Available for 1-gang to 3-gang.
