Weather station - equipped for all weathers

With the weather sensors and converters from JUNG, you can control your awnings and external blinds automatically according to the respective weather situation. The sensors for wind, sun and rain detect changes in real time and automatically adjust the shading. This allows you to enjoy pleasant shade per weather conditions or reliable protection when a storm is approaching.

Example installation of the weather station with JUNG HOME

Illustration of a house with corresponding sensors for wind, rain and sun.
The sensor is connected to the binary input of a JUNG HOME mini actuator via the converter.
The sun sensor is also connected to the binary inputs of the JUNG HOME mini actuator via the converter.
The converter measures the weather data and reacts if defined values are exceeded.
In the event of a wind alarm, the Jalosuieaktor Mini and other Jalosuieactuators installed in the JUNG HOME system are blocked. If a brightness defined in the converter is exceeded, a scene can be triggered in the JUNG HOME system that moves the blinds to a desired value.

Sensors and converters

Modern smart home systems also reliably protect your house from weather events. With the JUNG sensors for wind, rain and sun as well as the appropriate converters, your shading systems automatically adapt to changing weather conditions. The sensors detect wind, brightness and rain in real time and send signals to the converters, which then automatically move your blinds and awnings. The JUNG weather station thus ensures more security, longevity and comfort in the Smart Home.
Wind sensor
The wind sensor measures the wind force and transmits the measured values to the wind converter.
Sun sensor
The sun sensor measures the brightness and transmits the recorded values to the sun/twilight converter.

Rain sensor
The rain sensor registers when it is raining
and sends the information to the converter Rain.
Converter wind
The wind converter protects against storm damage to electric external blinds, awnings or other wind-prone shading systems by automatically retracting or blocking the entire shading system. The converter reacts when the defined threshold value for a certain wind speed is exceeded at the connected wind sensor.
Sun/twilight converter
The sun/twilight converter is responsible for brightness monitoring. With two separate setting ranges of 1-70 lux for twilight monitoring and 20,000-100,000 lux for shading monitoring, a wide range of applications can be realised. For example, the awning is automatically extended when the sun is at a height and retracted again when the brightness decreases.
Sun/wind converter
The converter for sun and wind ensures intelligent, weather-dependent control of the external blinds or awnings. If the converter detects that the previously set brightness threshold value has been exceeded, the blinds or awnings automatically extend. If an individually set wind force is exceeded, the shading retracts automatically to prevent damage caused by strong gusts.
Converter for rail mounting rain
In conjunction with the rain sensor, the rain converter enables weather-dependent control. It detects precipitation and ensures that the awning is retracted automatically. The fixed run-on time of 30 s ensures a continuously stable switching state even if the switching threshold is briefly undershot.
