INVISIBLE
Pop-Up-Installation by JUNG at Fuorisalone 2023
As part of the Fuorisalone 2023 in Milan's Brera Design District, the temporary JUNG installation INVISIBLE invited visitors to immerse themselves in an abstract world of smart home technology. As a unique souvenir, visitors received a POAP-NFT designed by JUNG.
The room dissolves. The invisible becomes tangible. Hidden device communication. Smart sustainability. INVISIBLE made the unseen the topic of discussion.
Colours, patterns, spherical sounds and light effects combined like a technical heartbeat. Hidden technology was seemingly brought to life. Visitors to INVISIBLE became part of the installation –networked, mirrored, reflected. Responding to the call: Let's connect. Be transparent. Reflect yourself. The temporary JUNG installation INVISIBLE at Fuorisalone 2023 in Milan’s Brera Design District immersed visitors in an abstract world of smart home technology, bringing the company and its products to life through art.Geometric shapes, lines and points of light were reminiscent of electrical engineering and created a slightly three-dimensional effect. Colour contrasts between blue and orange reinforced the optical illusions, while "invisible connections" connected across all the room surfaces and created an abstracted sense of space, artistically rendered by exhibition organiser Prof. Tina Kammer of InteriorPark. Walls and fixtures made of recycled paper, hand painted by Mural Artist Jay MT. Spherical sounds composed by DJ Jens Herzberg. Furniture from JUNG trade-fair inventories and storage boxes. ERCO's lighting concept played with the effect of visual perception.
INVISIBLE Smart Solutions
Smart home technology is undergoing an evolution. The systems are becoming increasingly intelligent, and installation and operation increasingly simple. JUNG HOME's latest evolutionary step isn't visible on the products themselves – sockets are intelligent, and switches communicate with wireless with each other. And yet they look like switches and sockets – and this in a wide range of colours.
INVISIBLE Sustainability
Sustainability without eco-look. JUNG has always defined sustainability holistically: environmentally friendly, responsible, energy efficient and local. Design quality through masterful craftsmanship. Future-proof thanks to innovative electrotechnical building system technology. Cradle to Cradle® certified products. The JUNG company has been thinking and acting sustainably for 111 years. Not always visible, but always sufficiently. This is also documented in the current sustainability report, which was presented for the first time as part of the Fuorisalone. With this report, JUNG has created the opportunity to compare its efforts and progress in the area of sustainability, while defining goals against which the company can be measured in the future.
INVISIBLE Souvenir
JUNG invites everyone who enjoys experimentation, new technologies and their possibilities to embark on a journey into Web 3.0 and blockchain technology. All visitors will have the opportunity to receive an authentic JUNG INVISIBLE NFT (non-fungible token). The technology used is based on the POAP protocol (Proof of Attendance Protocol). Behind this is the idea that every interpersonal encounter is unique. With POAP NFTs, these encounters can be captured forever in the form of a digital collectible.
In line with the installation, JUNG invited visitors to take a journey into Web 3.0 and blockchain technology: At the end of the exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to receive an authentic JUNG INVISIBLE NFT (non-fungible token). The technology used is based on the POAP protocol (Proof of Attendance Protocol). Behind this lies the idea that every interpersonal encounter is unique: the place and time of the encounter in Milan - captured forever in the form of a digital collectible.
With INVISIBLE, JUNG invited people to talk about the hidden. The installation represented JUNG's mindset of prioritising action over big words. INVISIBLE was temporary, but it will still be durable: Walls will be recycled. Storage boxes are returned to JUNG production facilities. And display elements will be used repeatedly at trade fairs. INVISIBLE showed progress with pragmatic means – honest and authentic. Just like JUNG.
