Intuitive ways in electrical planning

Three new JUNG configurators optimise the planning process

The configurators are precisely tailored to the needs of the different target groups and will therefore make the electrical planning of residential projects much easier, faster and more efficient.

The switch configurator for conventional electrical installatins and the two configurators for smart electrical planning with JUNG HOME and KNX provide intuitive guidance from the needs assessment to the specific equipment and switch design to the cost estimate. The configuration can be easily shared with the installer. The information from end customers, planners and installers is exchanged seamlessly via compatible versions of the configurators without any interface losses. Everyone receives exactly the depth of information they need.

Planning without interface losses
The configurators facilitate the professional preparation of the electrical equipment in residential properties and thus create a basis for building owners to more easily translate their individual wishes into technical equipment. The development team at JUNG worked on the solutions for over a year in order to make them as practical and easy to use as possible for consulting planners and electricians. As a result, many pieces of the puzzle now fit together logically and enable intuitive planning that starts with the client's wishes and requirements and ends with concrete parts lists including ref.-no. and individual prices for the installation companies on site. Each project is assigned a code that enables the seamless exchange of information between people and systems.

Inspiration and information in the JUNG HOME virtual reality 3D house
Anyone who needs inspiration for planning a smart installation, or who is looking for more information on the functional diversity of the smart JUNG HOME solutions, can start planning in the virtual room. In a virtual 3D house equipped from the basement to the roof, users can not only familiarise themselves with all the JUNG HOME products and find out about the various functions, but also have the option of starting different scenes directly via push-buttons. Once you have visualised your own requirements in the virtual room, you can access the configurator directly from there.

Standardised handling of all configurators
No specialist knowledge is required to use the three JUNG configurators. The preliminary planning can be done by the client alone, accompanied in a joint process with the planners and then handed over to the electrical contractors. During configuration, simple parameters such as the building structure of the construction project, whether it is a new building or a renovation, the number and type of rooms and the desired standard of equipment - from basic to comfort to premium - are requested. The equipment can then be specified for each room: the type of sockets and push-buttons for controlling lighting, shading and heating as well as the desired design and possible smart additional functions. At the end, users receive a list of products and functions, as well as information on material costs. The generated planning code enables further processing at a later stage and handover to a specialist planner. An automatically generated PDF room book summarises all the information in an overview, and a function book is also created for smart fittings.

Find a specialist partner
At the end of the planning process, clients are offered the JUNG "Find a specialist partner" service. This allows them to easily search for specialist partners for their building project. They find qualified professionals by postcode, filter the results according to their requirements, select a suitable specialist partner and initiate contact by specifying the planning code for customised offers. Any tradesperson can register for this free JUNG service. The configurators also offer them more options and concrete planning documents such as parts lists, unit prices and ref.-no. numbers.

The JUNG configurators guide builders simply and quickly - step by step - to their goal. They facilitate communication with the planners, as many decisions are already made in advance. The professional configurators for the trade have the same functions as the configurators for end customers and can access all data. In addition, however, they offer more options and concrete planning documents such as parts lists, unit prices and ref.-no. numbers etc.

The JUNG configurators optimise the electrical planning workflow and provide all users with exactly the information they need to make informed decisions.
