Rethinking colour
Designing architecture down to the finest detail
Extended design with depth of colour: LS 1912, LS CUBE, LS TOUCH and the door intercom system from JUNG are now also available in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®. This means that the electrical manufacturer can offer even more possibilities for the colour integration of electrotechnical components into sophisticated architectural and interior concepts. JUNG is continuing its long-standing partnership with Les Couleurs Suisse SA, combining technical functionality with design standards.
Colour is much more than decoration; it is a creative force, a means of expression and an architectural tool all at once. JUNG recognised this early on, becoming the first and only manufacturer to consistently translate it into the world of electrical engineering. Since 2014, the company has offered its iconic LS 990 switch range in all 63 of the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colours, which are curated by architects and stand for harmonious combinability, emotional depth and design relevance like no other colour system.
What began as a design vision with the classic LS 990 has long since evolved into a systematically expanded colour spectrum for modern electrical installations. With the introduction of LS TOUCH (2022), the iconic LS 1912 toggle switch (2024), and now LS Cube and the door intercom system (2025), the number of products that can be seamlessly integrated into colour-coordinated room concepts, both inside and out, is growing, as are the analogue and digital options available.
JUNG is thus pursuing a consistent design strategy that sees colour not as an option, but as an integral part of high-quality architecture, making colour-integrated architecture feasible right down to the technical details.
Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®: colour architecture with a system.
The 63 shades, developed by Le Corbusier in 1931 and 1959, are characterised by their natural pigment base, harmonious combinability, and space-shaping effect. Whether you want calm natural tones, powerful accents or atmospheric nuances, they enable precise control of the spatial effect, lighting behaviour and material coverage through finely tuned colour tones. They are an integral part of architectural colour concepts and are now available for other JUNG products.
LS 1912 – the toggle switch meets the colour classic.
The LS 1912 toggle switch combines technical finesse with a nod to the early days of electrical installations. Its elegant metal version with a rocker arm is available in all the Le Corbusier colours, finished with a matt coating and hand-painted. Whether as a classic switch or a KNX-capable version, with this colour extension, the LS 1912 becomes the perfect choice for high-quality room concepts combining retro aesthetics with colour design. The switch's shape and colour evoke the past while creating a look that is both timeless and contemporary.
LS CUBE – visible technology with colour:
LS CUBE, the clear surface-mounted housing of the LSS series, is the ideal solution for eye-catching surface installations thanks to its new colour options. With 63 Le Corbusier colours to choose from, housings and inserts can be colourfully highlighted and seamlessly integrated into exposed concrete, wood, and paintwork. LS CUBE is available as a switch, socket, dimmer, motion detector or KNX component, offering even more scope for colourful electrical design.
Door intercom – colour harmony for the entrance area:
The JUNG door intercom system is now available in all 63 colours from the Le Corbusier range. The painted front panel can be combined with switches, sockets and other control elements from the JUNG portfolio to create a harmonious interior look. This means that door communication can also be part of a consistent colour and design concept – technically precise, formally reduced and colour-integrated.
LS TOUCH – one device for up to 32 functions: LS Touch combines the intuitive operation of KNX functions for smart home control with JUNG's design selection. The innovative touch and swipe surface is available in the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colours, sets new design highlights, and represents a future-oriented interpretation of smart home operation.
Design quality meets system competence
With the addition of the LS 1912, LS Cube, LS Touch and the door intercom system, JUNG is making Le Corbusier's Architectural Polychromy available in other product areas, ensuring a colour-consistent design down to the finest detail. All the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® products can be ordered on a project-by-project basis and are only produced after an order has been placed. The delivery time is approximately 10 weeks. Planning aids such as BIM data, colour guides and technical documents are available. With this new colour option, JUNG once again demonstrates how technical solutions can seamlessly integrate with design standards. All product extensions impress with their design and the highest "Made in Germany" manufacturing quality as well as well-thought-out system integration.
