With Regati, a residential neighbourhood has sprung up directly on the Baltic Sea in Pirita, a coastal town district of Tallinn. The apartments offer extensive views of the water and are persuasive due to a clear, understated interior design. 

Large window surfaces, rooms with a height of almost three metres and light materials characterise the atmosphere of the apartments. The floor plans are consistently oriented to the views of the landscape. Living areas open out to the coast with room-high glazing and extend the interior space with terraces and balconies. Daylight and vistas thus become an essential component of the living concept. The inner rooms follow a Nordic-influenced design with a reduced colour palette and natural materials. Light oak floors, white walls and textile surfaces create calm rooms which are accentuated by dark wood, natural stone and individual pieces of colourful furniture. Many of the fixtures and pieces of furniture have been specially developed for this project and pick up this open room structure. The project counts on a precise design in every detail. Doors with concealed frames, reduced passages without classic skirting and custom-made fittings produce a calm picture. Different material moods give each of the apartments a unique character - from light, almost monochrome rooms to darker areas with expressive wood grain and natural stone surfaces.

The LS 990 switch ranges in white and stainless steel complement the reduced design of the apartment with a precise, timeless language. With their reserved materiality, they blend seamlessly into the light surfaces, natural stone and dark wooden elements of the project. In addition to the private apartments, the neighbourhood includes collectively used areas as well as publicly accessible offerings along the promenade. Cafes, restaurants and recreational spaces link the residential complex with the urban environment and strengthen the connection to the coastal landscape.
