Wall boxes for fibre optics in JUNG design

Fibre optic technology will determine the digital future of the Internet. It transmits data at the speed of light and consumes less energy. JUNG has now added the appropriate data wall boxes for fibre optic technology to its portfolio.
To ensure that the fibre optic connection blends harmoniously into the existing electrical installation, we offer the junction boxes in the design frames of the AS/A, CD and LS ranges. In this way, we create an integration that fulfils both the aesthetic requirements and the new functional needs.

mounting adapter

The mounting adapter is available in versions with a 30° angle or as a flat terminal and in 1-gang and 2-gang versions.

The mounting adapter 30° has a cover with dust protection lid and inscription field.
Straight connection
The version with the straight connection surface is equipped with a cover with dust protection shutter.

Glass fibre keystones

In conjunction with the mounting adapters, JUNG also offers the colour-coded Keystone modules for fibre optic cables with SC couplings, which enable the quick and safe installation of fibre optic connections. Thanks to the colour coding, they can be easily distinguished and used specifically for the prescribed applications.
SC SIMPLEX OM2
The fibre optic Keystone SC Simplex OM2 in beige is designed for multimode 2 connections and enables reliable data transmission at up to 1 Gbit/s over distances of up to 550 m and 10 Gbit/s over up to 82 m.
SC SIMPLEX OM3
The fibre optic Keystone SC Simplex OM3 in Aqua is optimised for multimode 3 connections and enables a high data transmission rate. It supports speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s over distances of up to 300 metres.
SC SIMPLEX OM4
The fibre optic Keystone SC Simplex OM4 in Erika violet is designed for multimode 4 connections and enables high transmission rates. It achieves 10 Gbit/s over 400 m as well as 40 Gbit/s and 100 Gbit/s over 150 m.
SC SIMPLEX OS2
The fibre optic Keystone SC Simplex OS2 in green is optimised for singlemode 2 connections and offers a bandwidth of up to 800 Gbps. It was developed for data transmission over long distances.
Application examples
Multimode fibres are ideal for short distances up to approx. 550 m and are mainly used in buildings, data centres and corporate networks. Single-mode fibres are the better choice for longer lengths of approx. 2 km or more, as they operate almost loss-free and are particularly suitable for telecommunications, wide area networks and internet backbones.
