Gold is extraordinary
Switches and sockets in the LS 990 range in gold are galvanically hard gold plated on brass with a plating of 2 µ. Corresponding to the properties of gold, this high-gloss range is very corrosion resistant.
Alongside this particularly high-quality version, the LS 990 is also available in a version with gold-coloured metal coating (PVD) onto chromed brass parts. The switches are coated in the same process as, for example, bath taps at 450° and thus achieve a very smooth surface with a high level of wear protection. Compared to the reddish sheen of the real gold version, the PVD surface gleams with a golden-yellow tone.
Functional diversity
The frames for the LS 990 range in gold can be combined with numerous centre plates from the JUNG LS range. These include light switches, sockets for international systems, universal LED dimmers and KNX push-buttons. LS 990 offers even more combination possibilities in the versions with gold-coloured PVD coating.
Frame
The frames for the LS 990 range in gold are available in 1-gang to 4-gang versions - the frames for the version with gold-coloured coating in 1-gang to 5-gang versions. Depending on the structural situation and desired effect in the room, they can be installed horizontally or vertically.
