JUNG Showroom Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam's largest city and the country’s economic centre. Although officially renamed in 1976, the metropolis in the south of Vietnam is still known as Saigon. Situated on the banks of the Saigon River, the JUNG showroom boasts innovative building technology and stylish design.
In the JUNG Showroom, architect Hoang Quoc Binh shows how an unusual hybrid building can break all boundaries. Hidden behind a modern, transparent perforated facade is a Victorian house with classic bay windows and towers. The renovated villa houses the JUNG sales and presentation rooms on three floors as well as a fully equipped hotel room with bathroom, which invites interested guests to experience the smart JUNG solutions directly on site.
Inside the building, the historicism of the façade contrasts with a simple, modern interior: clear, elegant shapes, smooth surfaces and a monochrome colour spectrum. At the centre of the showroom is an exhibition dedicated to the history of JUNG. It is framed by exhibits from the JUNG ranges in the classic colours and surfaces of white and black as well as various metal variants from aluminium to brass and gold. The classic LS 990 switch in the Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours is also presented here. The hotel room on the upper floor is equipped with JUNG Hospitality KNX products and can be booked for overnight stays.
