Colour becomes the determining element of the interior design inside the home of the Fernkeido founder. Different tones, patterns and textures are consciously combined and yet produce a harmonious picture. A light green runs through doors, architraves, skirting boards and the staircase and gives the rooms a connecting framework.

This concept can be seen particularly clearly in the hallway and staircase. A finely striped carpet forms the background for the wood elements outlined in green, while a stair carpet with a coloured border gives an additional touch. Glass lamps, brass details and a red framed mirror complement the colour palette. The playful treatment of colour continues in the adjoining rooms: pink fittings meet floral carpets and warm wooden floors in a herringbone pattern. The electrical installation also becomes part of this colour concept. LS 990 in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® 32041 vert anglais clair picks up the green tones of the interior and thus blends into the coloured wall surfaces.
