Special Jury Distinction at the BIMobject Awards 2026
At the BIMobject Awards 2026, JUNG was honoured with a special jury award in the category “Most Creative Brand”. The awards recognise manufacturers who advance digital planning and construction through innovative products, high-quality BIM data and strong engagement with the BIM community. The jury particularly highlighted how JUNG transforms building technology into timeless design elements that integrate seamlessly into architectural concepts. With iconic solutions such as the LS 990 switch range, JUNG demonstrates how functionality, durability and design precision can form a powerful creative language.
Designplus Award for NUO YA
Light, frameless and modern-minimalist – the JUNG design range NUO YA embodies design clarity and technical elegance. The switch range, developed specifically for the Asian market, is among the winners of the Designplus Award by Light + Building 2026 in the category User Experience & Integration+. The award, presented by Messe Frankfurt in cooperation with Stylepark magazine, recognises innovative products, forward-looking systems and ideas across the full spectrum of the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building technology.
German Design Award for switches and sockets in Anthracite
The covers and frames of the A range in Anthracite have been honoured with the German Design Award in the category “Excellent Product Design – Building and Elements”. Made from 95% recycled material, they demonstrate how resource-efficient and functionally sophisticated modern building technology can be. The jury particularly recognised the consistent adherence to stringent environmental standards and the blend of timeless aesthetics, functionality and sustainable material use.
German Design Award for JUNG UNIQUE x Ippolito Fleitz Group
The switch collection JUNG UNIQUE x Ippolito Fleitz Group has been honoured with the German Design Award in the category “Excellent Product Design – Building and Elements”. The collection combines functional design with expressive typography and a distinctive graphic identity inspired by iconic song lyrics. Developed in close cooperation with the Ippolito Fleitz Group, it transforms switches into characterful communication elements. The jury particularly highlighted the option to design customised control surfaces via the JUNG GRAPHIC TOOL, adding an additional communicative layer to the room.

Architects’ Darling Silver Award for the JUNG founder’s villa
The JUNG founder’s villa has received the Architects’ Darling Award 2025 in silver in the “Reference Projects” category. The award recognises the interplay of heritage-sensitive restoration, contemporary extension and a clear architectural stance. Since its comprehensive transformation, the villa has served as a place for encounter, exchange and collaboration – an example of how historical building fabric can be integrated into a contemporary utilisation concept. The award highlights the design quality of the project and its significance as a reference for architecture and planning.
ICONIC AWARD for the JUNG founder's villa
For years, the ICONIC AWARDS have honoured groundbreaking projects, such as clever renovation and new construction solutions. We are delighted to have received this award as the “winner” for the renovation and expansion of the JUNG Gründervilla (Founders Villa). The renovation of the historic villa, dating back to 1928, as well as the expansion with a modern pavilion, were realized by NGA Nehse & Gerstein Architekten BDA. Today, the villa serves as a multifunctional office, event, and residential building.
German Design Award for the JUNG founder's villa
The expert jury of the German Design Award has honoured the JUNG founder's villa with the "Winner" award in the "Excellent Architecture" category. The jury based its decision on the high level of design of the remodelling. The villa was converted and extended in 2019 as part of a competition for young architectural agencies - today it serves as a meeting and service centre.
JUNG UNIQUE x GRAFT Architects' Choice "Best Workspaces"
JUNG received the Architects' Choice "Best Workspaces" award for its collaboration with GRAFT as part of JUNG UNIQUE. The JUNG UNIQUE by GRAFT switch collection is an ode to urban life and individuality. With JUNG UNIQUE, switches and push-buttons become individual communication elements in the room. "Best Workspaces" is the first international architecture prize for intelligent work environments. The prize has been awarded by the Callwey publishing house since 2022.

bdia ausgesucht!: Winner category sustainability
JUNG manufactures the plastic design covers and design frames of the A CREATION, A 550 and A FLOW switch ranges in anthracite from 95% recycled material. The use of the so called recyclate helps to protect the environment without compromising functionality and quality. The bdia jury selected this design as the winner in the category ‘Sustainability’.

JUNG HOME is “Architects‘ Choice 2023”
The "Architects' Choice" award is presented as part of the "Häuser des Jahres/Houses of the Year" competition and rewards the most innovative product solutions for professional house construction. In a public online vote, the JUNG HOME smart home system was chosen by architects and building owners as the "Architects' Choice 2023" in the building technology category.
2022
DESIGN PLUS powered by light + building 2022: BEST OF
With the Design Plus Award, the German Design Council honours products that combine trendsetting design with innovative technology and ecology. Among 112 competitors, the JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket prevailed as one of five "Best of" products. It is part of a new smart home system that networks the home intelligently and securely without a server or internet connection. It is switchable, measures energy and has many other features. The system is based on the Bluetooth® Mesh standard.
Research seal: innovative through research
In this year as well, a large effort in research and development has paid off. For 2022/2023, JUNG can continue to use the sought-after "Innovative through research" seal and shows that research and innovation are important elements of our business culture.
Since 2014, the awarding body (Stifterverband) has honoured researching businesses with the "Innovative through research" seal for their special responsibility that they accept for the state and society.
2020
bdia ausgesucht! 2021: 2st place in online voting
With JUNG UNIQUE, switches, push-buttons and dimmers become an individual communication element in the room. The design tool gives creatives the possibility to design operating elements for specific projects. Depending on the materiality of the switch range, symbols, images, patterns or text are applied using colour printing or laser engraving. In the bdia ausgesucht! competition of the Association of German Interior Designers (bdia), JUNG Unique occupied 2nd place in the online voting.
ARCHITECTS´ DARLING® Jury Awards 2021
Best Social Media Offering! The JUNG Instagram channel @junglovesarchitecture has been awarded gold at the Heinze Architects‘ Darling Awards 2021. @junglovesarchitecture provides regular information about current architecture and interior design projects, activities and industry events. For this reason, a jury of notable representatives of international architect firms and communications experts elected the channel as the "Architects‘ Darling".
2018
Products of the year 2019, Category Smart Home
In the "Houses of the Year 2019" architectural competition, the JUNG LS 990 switch range was awarded "Product of the Year". The flexible range offers attractive solutions for equipping with smart building technology – whether for new-builds or existing buildings. The competition has been held every year since 2011 by the "German Architecture Museum" and Callwey publishers and honours the best projects in the German-speaking area.
