Apartment in Kiev | Ukraine
The apartment in one of the best residential areas in the centre of Kiev was designed for a young client. The layout concept of the property developer stipulates a traditional room division with a communal area at the entrance and a private relaxation area at the back of the apartment. Based on classic American interiors, an open, bright sequence of rooms is created, whose refined, detailed implementation has its own character.
The entrance hall, which sets the scene for the interior due to its mirrored surfaces, marks the start of the living area. The zoning of the room is carried out via the different functions - from the dining table with an elegant chandelier to the large modular sofa. The open layout leads from the living area into the kitchen, which is reinforced by changing the wooden floorboards into a tiled floor with a floral pattern. A surprising detail is the bench seat integrated in the kitchen furniture, which forms a private corner together with the small breakfast table. The connecting element of the public areas are the heavy curtains in green tones as well as the brass decorated handles and elements.
The private relaxation area is separated from the living area by a corridor. The blossom panel by Phillip Jeffries behind the headboard of the bed gives the bedroom a feminine touch, supported by the classic dressing table with a round mirror in a heavy frame. The dressing room is functional and bright and has wardrobes, shoe racks and a glass cabinet for accessories. A colourful accent is provided by a velour pouffe in a marsala tone. A special focus is placed on the study which needs to function as a guest room in addition to its function as a home office. A versatile table is supplemented by a large cupboard area, in which the work utensils can be hidden as well as a sofa which is simultaneously a guest bed.
Depending on the finish, switches of the CD 500 range complement the traditional design concept. In white on the extravagant kitchen tiles or in platinum on the different wall coverings and stone surfaces.

CD 500
Harmony for any room The CD 500 range harmoniously integrates into any living area through its design. This impression is reinforced by the angling in the rocker area. This makes the switch to a special sort of design accessory that can be chosen as required to match the interior decoration style. Six different colours and two shades of anodised aluminium thus offer a wide variety. They correspond to the current RAL colours for door and window fittings.
