With production in Germany, JUNG focuses on sustainable development and manufacturing processes, short logistics pathways for suppliers and energy-efficient production. Precision in the manual processing and high design quality ensure that the products are high-quality and robust. A long production life is important to us. The complete lifecycle of the architecture and the building products used in them is moving more and more strongly into the consciousness of users and likewise influences our production and our products.
Progress through research
Quality in every detail
JUNG is characterised by a unique depth in product quality. We carefully specify each individual component, no matter how small it may be. The result: durable mechanics and functional solutions at the highest quality level.
Made to touch – metal processing and craftmanship
For over 100 years, JUNG has been a pioneer in its craft. With the highest precision, a fine feel and expert knowledge, we have always developed and produced our products in Germany. There is a particular expertise here in metal processing and in the production of the LS 990 switch classic in the 63 Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier. Many important steps are undertaken by hand in the process. For example, all brass switches are brushed by hand to make them almost unique. This special know-how and the craft abilities from the in-house metal processing provide the particular appeal and the high quality of the JUNG switches and sockets. In order to reproduce the impressive colour depth of the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier, JUNG has the switches in this range painted by hand in a special process. This produces the matt surface.
Lacquered by hand
With finesse and precise work steps to success: to project the special depth of colour of the "Polychromie Architecturale" of Le Corbusier, the switches are painted by hand in a special process. First, all particles and pieces of dust are removed under running water, then the switch is given its colour with a first coat. After drying, a second coat follows – for the velvety touch and matt look.

Metal finish
We provide our switch designs in genuine metal, and frames and inserts are produced in the same material. That requires a different tool for each of over 200 different products. The production processes are exactly tailored to the properties of the individual metals: aluminium is matt finished or lacquered, stainless-steel shot-blasted with glass beads, brass brushed, metal with chrome finish or refined with almost 24 carat gold plating.
