JUNG HOME. JUST SMART.

Switch and dim lights, move blinds up and down, regulate room temperatures and integrate the smart products from many suppliers: with the JUNG HOME smart home system, you simply smartify your home. JUNG HOME is based on the conventional 230-volt installation. In this way, your house or apartment fulfils the requirements for a digital infrastructure. All functions can be simply controlled with a switch, using the JUNG HOME app, by voice command or automatically using motion detectors.

JUNG HOME + Smart Visu Server

The connection of an existing JUNG HOME system to a Smart Visu Server offers the user additional functions. The system is linked to the Smart Visu Server via the JUNG HOME gateway. The operation is carried out via the user interface of the server. Through the connection, the user now has a platform for two JUNG systems - JUNG HOME and KNX. Visualisation and control of all functions is possible via the Smart Visu Server app using a smartphone or tablet.

Securely networked

JUNG HOME devices are networked using Bluetooth® Mesh. Due to the automatic encryption, the worldwide standard makes the wireless data transmission particularly secure.
System limits
  • Up to 60 devices (1 device = cover + insert) can be linked in one system. These can be configured and operated with one end device.
  • The project synchronisation is used for simple configuration and operation with multiple end devices with systems of up to 20 devices. With more than 20 devices and multiple end devices, a Smart Visu Server is a requirement for operation.
  • With more than 20 devices of the same device type (e.g. 20 blinds actuators), a Smart Visu Server is a requirement.
  • For systems with more than 20 devices, of which at least 50 % of the devices are to be configured with automations, a Smart Visu Server must be used. The server runs the central time control.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about: JUNG HOME

JUNG HOME eliminates the need for tedious and dusty wall channelling – the system works entirely without the need for rewiring. JUNG HOME devices can be installed using the existing 230-volt wiring. Switches, dimmers, blind controls and room thermostats are simply swapped for smart inserts and attachments, and the devices connect to each other using the recognised Bluetooth® Mesh standard.

Using the free JUNG HOME app, functions such as lighting control, roller shutters, heating control or scenes can then be set up intuitively and conveniently. Timed programmes, delay times or automatic sequences can be saved directly in the devices – all locally and without a constant internet connection.

That’s exactly what JUNG HOME was developed for. Instead of laying new cables, existing switches are replaced with smart devices. These communicate wirelessly with one another via a stable Bluetooth mesh network. This allows for flexible automation of lighting and shading:

  •     Dimming lights
  •     Raising and lowering roller shutters
  •     Combining functions into scenes
  •     Control via app, push-button or motion detector

All functions and automated sequences are stored locally within the device itself. This makes retrofitting particularly easy and ensures the devices are reliable

With JUNG HOME, the familiar design is retained in its entirety. The system is designed so that the devices blend in perfectly with the rest of the JUNG installation. This means:

  •     The appearance and frames remain the same
  •     Existing ranges such as LS, A or AS can continue to be used
  •     Only the technical components are replaced

This creates a smart home with JUNG HOME sockets and JUNG HOME push-buttons, without the switches in the room suddenly looking different or having to compromise on aesthetic standards.

The JUNG HOME system offers two convenient ways to turn a socket into a smart socket. The simplest option is to use a JUNG HOME socket, which comes with smart functionality as standard – no additional device needs to be installed, and the socket blends in seamlessly with the chosen switch design. With the JUNG HOME SCHUKO® Energy socket and the JUNG HOME app, you can also keep a close eye on the energy consumption of connected devices at all times. Alternatively, an existing socket can be easily retrofitted with a JUNG HOME Puck. This is installed in the existing flush-mounted box and allows you to control the socket via the app, a push-button or a timer programme. Whichever solution you choose, the system works entirely without the need for new wiring or visible changes to the wall.

JUNG HOME operates entirely on the basis of the existing electrical installation. The system requires

  •     no additional data cable
  •     no central server
  •     no permanent internet connection

The devices form their own decentralised network comprising up to 60 components. Thanks to the many-to-many mesh principle, the system offers particularly stable and robust connectivity throughout the building. The JUNG HOME Gateway is available for optional additional functions such as voice control via Alexa, Google or SmartThings. This securely connects the local system to the cloud when required, is VDE-certified and meets high standards of information security.

JUNG HOME offers a centralised control solution. Various devices can be controlled via a single app:

  •     Switch lights on and off and dim them
  •     Control roller shutters and sun protection
  •     Switch sockets on and off
  •     Regulate room temperatures
  •     Create custom scenes
  •     Set up timers

Thermostat, blind and switch modules can be controlled individually or in groups. Up to 16 time programmes per device are possible. Thanks to AES-128 encryption, control is secure and protected.
