So that you can use electricity safely, there are our SCHUKO® sockets. High-quality contact springs inside the sockets ensure your safety in daily use. They reliably enclose the SCHUKO® plug and thus ensure that the protective earthing takes effect before the current flows.
Tested safety
Every new socket is tested multiple times during production for functionality and quality. Our high quality standards require SCHUKO® sockets to withstand twice as many repeated plug insertions as required by the standard. SCHUKO® sockets with the "Safety Plus" designation are equipped with an integrated shutter for increased safety.
Safety Plus: SCHUKO® socket with shutter
JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with enhanced contact protection (shutter) offer more safety. An internal locking mechanism, the shutter, reduces the risk of contact with conductive parts. The shutter is a fixed part of the socket and cannot be removed. Naturally, all JUNG SCHUKO® sockets are also VDE tested with the "Safety Plus" designation.

The integrated residual current device detects so-called residual currents and disconnects the monitored circuit from the rest of the power network within milliseconds. Easy installation
We have simplified installation for the installer with many details in the SCHUKO® sockets. The compact base design makes a significant contribution to this. This provides a better view into the flush-mounted box and of the cable material. Our SCHUKO® sockets are available in plastics such as thermoplastic or duroplastic, in metal versions such as aluminium, stainless steel or brass and in various colours from white to black. In addition, we offer versions with a hinged lid and USB ports.

Splash-proof and robust: our WG 800 and WG 600 surface-mounted ranges are intended for use in cellars and garages, attics and terraces. The robust plastic housing of the surface-mounted socket meets the IP44 standard, retains its protective function even at low temperatures and is predestined for use in protected outdoor areas. The AP 600 surface-mounted range is ideal for new installation and retrofitting in dry interiors: on concrete, wood or exposed masonry.

LS CUBE

JUNG e-bike SCHUKO® socket
The marking on the green cover clearly indicates that this surface-mounted socket is reserved for e-bikes and e-scooters. As a result, you find the right place for the next charge of electricity straightaway. Thanks to IP44 degree of protection, the wall box is ideally suited for use in protected outside areas. Splash water and for example sand contamination cannot harm the socket. The integrated locking mechanism also secures the socket as it protects against unauthorized use by third parties. SCHUKO® socket with LED floor pilot light

As the inventor of the SCHUKO® socket with pilot light, we have continuously optimised this concept. The result is an LED light integrated flush into the design cover and with a defined, downward shining light cone. The socket with pilot light is available in the JUNG switch ranges of the A and LS design ranges.
Discrete design
The socket base with integrated LED floor pilot light fits flush onto the design cover. The neutral white LED shines downwards and achieves a homogenous light distribution across the entire surface of the lens. Sockets with LED floor pilot light provide on the one hand a safe, non-glare orientation in the dark and on the other a uniquely stringent look. They are available in numerous colours in the JUNG ranges.
Illuminate according to need
The LED socket with pilot light optionally has an integrated brightness sensor. When the environmental light falls below a specified threshold value, the LED illuminates the socket. As a result, the LED only shines when the light is needed. An important factor in properties where no pilot light is needed or wanted during daylight.
LED floor pilot light
LED floor pilot lights are also available without a socket. Matching the JUNG switch ranges, they provide stylish light accents on stairs and in corridors. The integrated brightness sensor activates the light source at twilight and switches it off again as soon as it is dawn.

SCHUKO® sockets with USB ports

The JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with USB ports swiftly recharge all batteries. The devices are available in a combination of USB Type-A and Type-C ports, as well as individually with Type-C. Like all other SCHUKO® sockets, these are of course also "Made in Germany" and VDE-certified.

USB chargers

Smartphone, Bluetooth® headphones and a smart watch as well: mobile devices need energy. Our USB chargers provide a charging capacity of 15 or 60 watt and integrate ideally into the electrical installation. Snap-on covers allow a flat and harmonious design and thus fit very well into multiple frames alongside conventional SCHUKO® sockets.

The USB PD 60 supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 with Programmable Power Supply (PPS), Quick Charge 4+ and manufacturer standards such as Huawei FastCharge protocol (FCP) and SuperCharge protocol (SCP), and Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging (AFC). The chargers are also compatible with the A, CD and LS ranges. 

Since end of 2024, USB-C connections will be compulsory for many new devices. With the new USB PD 60 charger, we offer a space-saving solution for charging batteries of up to 60 watt.

International sockets

Connections in accordance with country-specific standards
Other countries, other plug types. For worldwide use, we provide standardised sockets for country-specific plugs and power supplies. Numerous international connection modes are available thanks to the JUNG modular system. Every individual socket takes account of the respective regional requirements. The international sockets from JUNG can be implemented in virtually all design ranges – they can also be combined in multiple frames. This makes a uniform design possible.

G + I socket

The JUNG multistandard G + I socket is impressive: it combines the British type G plug with the type I plug that is widely used in Australia, China and Argentina and other countries. It thus covers the connection options of over a third of all countries worldwide. In combination with a SCHUKO® socket, it is even over 75 percent. Germany's largest testing company DEKRA attested optimum safety for the JUNG multistandard G + I socket. The following standards have been tested: IEC60884-1: 2002 + A1: 2006 + A2: 2013 and BS1363-2: 1995 + A4: 2012.

British Standard with adapter supporting frame
With this method, installers can install versatile building technology, without extensive restoration work or a reconfiguration of the electrical installation under the plaster. With the adapter supporting frame you can install components such as the JUNG USB socket or an F 40 push-button and much more. The DIN standard of VDE allows high flexibility. This means that installers can implement an individual electrical installation in a new construction. Technical details

In JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with the "Safety Plus" designation, the shutter provides additional safety. It is part of the cover of the socket and is intended to remain closed until a plug for the intended use is inserted. In this way, improper or erroneous use, such as inserting items other than plugs, can be prevented. As a result, the shutter provides enhanced contact protection in the best way possible and reduces the risk that people with conductive items come into contact with the socket and as a result possibly get an electric shock.

All sockets with the "Safety Plus" designation are equipped with an integrated shutter and, with further design measures, fulfil the more demanding, enhanced safety requirements of DIN standard VDE 0620:2021-02. This means they meet the current technological standards.
Safety Plus – enhanced safety using a shutter
With an integrated shutter, we give the JUNG sockets extra safety. The shutter reduces the risk of making direct contact with live parts. Furthermore, the USB ports fulfil the increased, safety-relevant requirements of DIN standard VDE 0620:2021-02 and thus meet the current technological standards.

JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with USB port are certified by the German VDE (Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies). The VDE approval certifies product quality at the latest state of technology and safe use in accordance with the increased test criteria of VDE. FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about: Sockets

With the Magnetic Charger, JUNG offers wireless charging in accordance with the Qi2 standard with up to 15 watts of charging power – directly integrated into the LS and A switch ranges. Integrated magnets position the smartphone precisely in front of the charging surface and hold it securely on the wall even when exposed to vibrations. The charger is compatible with Qi2- or MagSafe-compatible cases. Power is supplied via a flush-mounted insert in the existing wall box, allowing the Magnetic Charger to be conveniently integrated into new-build and retrofit projects.

Sockets with additional functions such as integrated USB ports require more space in the wall. Due to its installation depth, the SCHUKO® socket with USB requires a deep wall box with a depth of more than 57 mm. If only standard wall boxes with a depth of less than 53 mm are available on site, an elevated frame can be used for retrofitting. This frame ensures the clearance of 8 mm required by the standard and enables compliant installation.

Switching to a smart home with JUNG HOME can generally be achieved without major effort. Existing sockets are simply replaced with JUNG HOME SCHUKO® sockets, which integrate seamlessly into the existing switch range. The familiar appearance is retained, the installation continues to blend harmoniously into the room and gains smart functions at the same time. The wall box should have a minimum depth of 53 mm.

Our SCHUKO® socket with JUNG Quick Charge® offers an integrated USB-C port for charging devices directly. If additional charging power is required, the installation can be supplemented with the separate USB charger PD 60. It supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 with PPS, Quick Charge 4+ and manufacturer-specific standards such as Huawei FastCharge or SuperCharge and Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging.

The separate USB chargers provide up to 60 watts of charging power. The USB PD 60 model supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 with Programmable Power Supply. A more compact version provides 15 watts (3 amperes); when two electrical loads are connected, this is divided equally into 1.5 amperes per port. The socket with USB port in the JUNG Quick Charge® version provides 18 watts of charging power.

JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with USB ports turn any wall socket into a convenient charging point for mobile devices with an empty battery. The sockets are available either with a combination of USB Type-A and Type-C or exclusively with USB Type-C. In the version with JUNG Quick Charge®, they provide 18 watts of electrical power, allowing smartphones and other mobile devices to be recharged significantly faster.

The JUNG SCHUKO® socket with RCD monitors the connected circuit and reliably disconnects it from the rest of the network within milliseconds if residual currents occur. It is particularly suitable for areas with increased safety requirements such as bathrooms, kitchens or covered swimming pools and is ideal for retrofitting in existing buildings, especially where intervention in the sub-distribution is not possible.

Yes, JUNG offers SCHUKO® sockets with an integrated inscription field protected by a transparent cover. Versions with a backlit inscription field are also available. For areas with particularly high hygiene requirements, versions with a spray-mist-protected inscription field are also available.

Yes, JUNG HOME SCHUKO® sockets allow connected devices and luminaires to be switched conveniently. Operation is carried out as usual using push-buttons on the wall or additionally via the JUNG HOME app. Individual time programmes can also be stored there to switch electrical loads on and off automatically.

The ‘Energy’ version also measures the power consumption of the connected devices in watts and kilowatt-hours. It detects typical standby consumption and switches it off automatically as soon as consumption falls below a defined threshold. This saves energy and reduces unnecessary consumption in the building.

JUNG SCHUKO® sockets are designed for maximum durability. They significantly exceed the number of repeated plug insertions required by the standard and remain reliable even under intensive use. This is based on the compact base design with high-quality contact springs inside, which continue to function safely even after frequent insertion and removal. Every new socket is tested several times during production for functionality and quality before leaving the factory. Production takes place exclusively in Germany, and every socket is 100 percent quality-tested – a quality standard that JUNG consistently pursues.

A high-quality socket reveals its quality in details that are usually hidden in everyday use – but are crucial for safety and service life. Inside every JUNG SCHUKO® socket, robust contact springs engage in such a way that protective earthing is established before the current flows. The integrated Safety Plus shutter provides additional protection against accidental contact. Equally important is the high level of durability, which contributes to the long-term operational safety of the electrical installation.

JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with RCD are specially designed for retrofitting in existing buildings where the wiring does not yet have a protective conductor. They reliably detect residual currents and disconnect the monitored circuit from the rest of the power network within milliseconds – without the need to replace the entire electrical installation.

The JUNG switch range offers solutions within the socket portfolio for yachts, sailing boats, cruisers and motorboats. Some switches and frames are handcrafted, designed to meet the high demands on board and ensure a harmonious overall appearance in the interior. Numerous yachts have already been equipped with JUNG KNX. For the individual planning and implementation of the control system on board, we recommend a direct consultation.

For the SCHUKO® socket with inscription field, the transparent cover is available as a separate spare part (ref. no. M 20 NA). The hinged lid can also be retrofitted as a separate accessory. However, this does not apply across manufacturers.

For safety reasons, the internal parts of sockets may only be cleaned by a qualified electrician, as the contacts may be live. Before cleaning begins, the associated circuit must always be disconnected from the power supply. A dry or slightly damp cloth is generally sufficient for cleaning the outside of the cover.

The SCHUKO® socket with e-bike charging symbol is particularly suitable for charging e-bikes and e-scooters. It features an integrated locking mechanism to protect against unauthorised use and has an IP44 degree of protection. This makes it a robust solution for use in garages, carports or cellars.

For increased requirements, our JUNG sockets offer mechanical robustness – such as the surface-mounted ranges WG 800 and WG 600 for harsh environments – or a particularly high frequency of use: our SCHUKO® sockets withstand twice as many repeated plug insertions as required by the standard. For permanently high electrical loads, we recommend specialised connections such as CEE sockets, which are designed specifically for this purpose.

 

For charging e-bikes and e-scooters, we offer the SCHUKO socket with e-bike charging symbol as a specially designed, lockable solution. Standard SCHUKO sockets are not designed for continuous operation at full rated power over many hours, as would be the case when charging an electric car. There is a risk of overheating under full load for several hours. For charging electric cars, a permanently installed wallbox or a CEE connection designed specifically for continuous operation is recommended instead.

JUNG SCHUKO® sockets bearing the ‘Safety Plus’ designation offer enhanced contact protection through a permanently integrated shutter. The internal locking mechanism remains closed until a suitable plug is inserted, thereby reducing the risk of contact with live parts. The shutter is permanently connected to the socket, cannot be removed and meets the enhanced safety requirements of the DIN VDE 0620:2021-02 standard.

JUNG SCHUKO® sockets are made of either thermoplastic or duroplastic and are available in metal versions such as aluminium, stainless steel or brass. The wide range of colours extends from white to black and enables precise coordination with the interior design concept. The JUNG GRAPHIC TOOL can also be used to customise the control elements online with symbols, text or logos.

For flush-mounted electrical installations, we offer the plastering adapter LS ZERO. It enables flush integration of switches and sockets into walls or furniture and supports a flush-mounted design. For planning purposes, it is important that the installation is taken into account during the shell construction stage of the building. Suitable JUNG solutions are available for different surfaces. The cube-shaped LS CUBE as the surface-mounted version of the classic LS 990 is designed for dry rooms and creates distinctive accents on wood, exposed concrete, brick or natural stone. WG 800 is also suitable for dry interiors and impresses with a robust, clear design language on a wide variety of surfaces. The AP 600 range is designed for installation in dry interiors and can be used on concrete, wood or exposed masonry.
