Apartment in the old town, Vilnius | Lithuania
A mix of styles with clear structures.
Reinstate what time has taken away in order to preserve what breathes the past. This philosophy stands behind the planning of the state-of-the-art apartments in the old town of Vilnius. The architect firm toota interior was given the task to carefully remodel the interior.
Reaching far into the interior of the ceiling, in the centre, a hanging light with a structure to match the size of the room in round, contemporary opal glass: the living area in this apartment reveals itself as a skilful mix of the highest quality materials and furnishing elements. Severe, straight-edged objects alternate with rounded forms and provide fascinating combinations. An impressive kitchen island in terrazzo extends into the space – between it and the dark green velvet sofa next to it there is a central gangway. Parallel to this, a dining table and a second velvet sofa have been placed, giving the room a clear, symmetrical structure.
Fitting for this modern interior, the whole apartment is equipped with the JUNG CD 500 in ivory.

CD 500
