Colour synergy

„The LS range has been a constant companion of mine for many years. In high-end architectural projects, it has almost become a familiar point of reference. What has made a particular impression on me is the realisation that there are very few products that retain their design relevance over the course of decades. The LS range is undoubtedly one of them. Where particular attention is paid to proportion, materials, colour and detail, the LS 990 appears time and again – often in close proximity to FSB products. When LS switches and the FSB 1267 are installed in the same room at exactly the same height – often at 1,050 mm or, in the case of accessible solutions, at 850 mm – and both products are finished in the same colour from the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colour palette, a remarkable sense of design unity is created.

The LS range impressively demonstrates that minimalism can be timeless. It is an example of how true design is not driven by trends, but by a philosophy. That is precisely why it appears just as contemporary today as it did 60 years ago. The LS 990 is a classic of architectural history and, at the same time, proof that consistent design remains timeless. Over six decades, the series has lost none of its relevance – something very few products achieve.”
