„As an interior architect, I have always appreciated the completeness of the LS product family. It is particularly valuable that a wide range of building automation functions can be integrated within the same design language and often within a single frame. From conventional switches and sockets to lighting control, shading, climate control and smart building systems, everything can be combined into one coherent architectural solution. This consistency allows the technology to support the architecture rather than dominate it. The series demonstrates that true design quality does not depend on trends. It is a system that evolves technically, while preserving a clear and recognizable identity.
My personal favourite within the LS series is the LS 1912 range. I admire it as an excellent example of how historical design references can be reinterpreted in a tasteful and contemporary way. What I particularly appreciate is that LS 1912 is not a nostalgic reproduction, but a carefully refined design that combines heritage, innovation and functionality. It works equally well in historic buildings, boutique hotels and contemporary residential projects, adding character without becoming decorative.
For me, it demonstrates how timeless design can successfully bridge the past and the present. For me, the LS series is like a perfectly tuned instrument in a world-class orchestra – never demanding attention, yet essential to the harmony of the whole. It is a remarkable example of timeless and finely crafted design that has remained relevant for 60 years and, I believe, will continue to do so for the next 60 years as well.”
