The smart SCHUKO® sockets

The JUNG HOME SCHUKO® sockets are available in two versions. Both can be switched via the JUNG HOME push-buttons, the app or on the socket itself. Also, freely configurable timer switching points and an astro function are integrated. The JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket Energy is additionally equipped with a function for measuring energy consumption.
Like all other JUNG SCHUKO® sockets, the versions for JUNG HOME are also safe thanks to the JUNG standard "Safety Plus".
Looks like a socket, but can do much more. The JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket at a glance:

JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket Energy

This smart socket measures electricity consumption and thus allows targeted energy management. The energy consumption data can be called up in the app.
Switching and measuring energy consumption has never been so easy.
Additional functions of the JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket Energy:
  • integrated power (W) and energy measurement (kWh)
  • power measurement from 0.1 to 3650 watt
  • recording of the energy flow over the previous 24 hours and the previous 31 days (charting)
  • Operating hours counter, energy measurement period 
  • Power Save function (switches off standby electrical loads)
  • master/slave function (switches on a wirelessly linked electrical load depending on the electrical load connected)
  • overcurrent protection shutdown

Smart is so simple

From 230 volt to  smart in 5 minutes and everything stays as normal: the existing socket is simply replaced with a new JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket. After the smart socket has been installed, using the JUNG HOME app they can be taught-in on a smartphone, allocated to rooms or integrated into scenes.

Frame with 28 mm height above surface

If a standard wall box (< 53 mm) is mounted on the site, the raised frame is suitable: in this way, the space of 8 mm between housing floor and the wall box floor required by the regulations is ensured.
Installing the JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket
If there is no deep wall box available when retrofitting, the shallow wall box already installed can be used. In that case, the supporting frame adapter and the raised frame with 28 mm are mounted.

With the JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket Energy, a conventional socket becomes an intelligent energy monitor. The flush-mounted socket measures the power and energy consumption of connected devices and presents the consumption data clearly in the JUNG HOME App. This allows you to record electricity consumption conveniently without a visible socket adapter for energy measurement. The smart home socket is installed by a qualified electrician and requires no knowledge beyond conventional electrical installation.

Smart sockets make energy consumption transparent and support efficient use. The JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket Energy clearly displays the electricity consumption of connected devices and helps save energy with functions such as Power Save and freely definable time programs. Devices on standby can be switched off automatically. Devices can therefore be switched on only when actually needed. In this way, conscious smart home energy management is supported in everyday life and energy is used purposefully.

Safety Plus is the integrated enhanced contact protection of JUNG HOME SCHUKO® sockets. It provides additional protection for the contacts of the socket and increases safety when using the electrical installation. Particularly for smart home devices that are permanently integrated into the electrical installation, Safety Plus combines convenient use with an important additional safety feature.

Yes, JUNG HOME sockets can also be retrofitted individually. For example, a single socket can be made smart without having to retrofit the whole home immediately. The smart flush-mounted socket is installed in an existing device box without altering the building fabric and is then set up via the JUNG HOME App Work on the 230-volt installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

With JUNG HOME, you can keep an eye on electricity consumption. Energy monitoring shows how much electricity a connected device actually consumes. The JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket Energy records power and energy values and makes them traceable in the app.

This allows you to identify consumption patterns, find potential energy guzzlers and switch devices in a more targeted manner. The smart socket with integrated electricity consumption measurement creates transparency and is an important basis for intelligent energy management in the building.

Smart flush-mounted sockets are permanently installed in the wall and blend seamlessly into the design of the electrical installation. Unlike plug-in socket adapters or intermediate plugs, they remain discreetly integrated and do not protrude into the room. A smart home flush-mounted socket combines intelligent functions, convenient control and a tidy appearance to create an aesthetically and technically convincing solution for modern interiors.

Yes, scenes can be adjusted intuitively in the JUNG HOME App. In the app, you specify which smart home devices are switched together, for example energy-saving sockets, luminaires or other devices integrated into JUNG HOME. Existing scenes can be changed, expanded or reassigned at any time. This keeps your smart home control flexible when your habits or room situation change.

The JUNG HOME socket does not need a permanent internet connection for basic smart home control. Commissioning and operation are performed exclusively via the JUNG HOME App in the local Bluetooth Mesh. Wireless linking with additional JUNG HOME devices also takes place within this wireless network. Connected loads can therefore be switched reliably directly at the socket, conveniently via the app or via linked JUNG HOME devices.

 

Settings and time programs are retained in the event of a power failure. If the mains voltage is interrupted only briefly, the devices subsequently execute the stored time programs as usual. In the event of longer power failures, it may be necessary to update the time and date via the connection to the JUNG HOME App. Switching times not executed during the power failure are not automatically made up when the mains voltage returns.

The astro timer allows time programs to be aligned precisely with sunrise and sunset. A connected luminaire therefore switches on automatically at sunset and off again in the morning in line with the natural course of daylight. This is particularly useful for decorative lighting, outdoor luminaires in protected areas or fixed routines based on daylight. Using freely definable time offsets and limit ranges, planners can also adapt the switching times to typical periods of use and individual daily routines.

With the master-slave function, the JUNG HOME SCHUKO® socket Energy controls additional JUNG HOME devices depending on the connected load. As soon as the socket Energy detects that a device exceeds a defined power value, it automatically switches on a wirelessly linked device. This enables convenient building technology processes, for example at the workplace: when a central device is switched on, additional loads or luminaires follow automatically.
