When staying in a hotel room, it is important to quickly understand the various room functions. This makes an important contribution to guest satisfaction.
Hotels equip their rooms with the most varied technical equipment versions. From the simple base up to the high luxury: all guests should feel comfortable and be able to operate the technology in their room completely naturally – whether dimmed lighting, the ideal room climate or the "central off function".
We present the JUNG possibilities in virtual reality (VR) as panoramic 3D rooms. Move freely in them and see what hotel guests see when they arrive. Economy
The Economy room relies on a solid base with a conventional installation.
After arrival, hotel guests use the access card and activate the light and the control of the room temperature using the key card holder. As soon as the hotel room is vacated and the key card removed from the key card holder, the mains voltage is switched off. That saves energy effectively. If the card is in place, the switches at the bed are also working. The electronic key card holder works with RFID cards from various manufacturers. Coloured status LEDs provide feedback; the light colour can be selected individually.
Various connection possibilities such as IP network and charging possibilities with JUNG Quick Charge® complete the Economy equipment. We have equipped this hotel room with the JUNG A 550 switch range. It impresses with a striking and strictly reduced design and is produced in breakproof thermoplastic. A 550 is available in purist white and black as well as elegant aluminium and matt anthracite.
Midscale
The Midscale room is a comfortable hotel room with a high level of equipment.
Using push-buttons with multiple functions, guests can control many functions such as the Plug & Light LED lighting system. The spotlights provide an optimally directed, dimmable LED light. The guests control the temperature using the fan coil room thermostat: together with electrothermally controlled heating and cooling valves, it ensures optimum values. Additional connection possibilities make the difference in the areas of convenience and efficient workflows.
To match this, for this application example we have used the JUNG LS 990 switch range in aluminium. It makes a puristic interior design possible. It is characterised by a narrow frame and a large operating area. In aluminium, the classic among the flat switches has a rich natural colour and is matt finished.
Luxury A
Luxury fittings put the needs of the guests at the centre without compromise.
KNX is intelligent building technology from JUNG and allows automatically heated rooms, dimmed light as needed and a multitude of control possibilities using push-button sensors. With their help, scenes can be controlled: for example, in the evening the light can be dimmed and the blinds moved down at the same time with one press of a button. Naturally, numerous connection possibilities from international socket systems, IP connections and USB ports are also present.
The guests are lacking nothing. The high-quality furnishings naturally also get a luxury look in this equipment example: JUNG also has the LS 990 switch classic in brushed brass in the range. In its antique brass version, the switches are coloured by hand and given a protective clear lacquer surface finish. This underlines the high-quality character of the hotel room.
Luxury B
Optimal building technology for the perfect stay: the JUNG KNX system allows luxury fittings and brings the needs of the guests into focus.
Cosy light, relaxed music and a comfortable temperature: with the intuitively operated push-buttons, everything can be operated easily and, using a presence detector and pre-configured scene control, many processes run completely automatically. In this way, the stored preferences from a previous visit (such as temperature) can already be called up at check-in. Numerous connection possibilities for various plug types, the IP network and charging possibilities with USB ports round off the luxury equipment and provide special convenience.
High-quality technology paired with a special look: in this hotel example, we look at the JUNG LS 990 range in classic brass. The switch is brushed by hand and a clear lacquer on both sides protects the surface. In combination with the KNX F 40 push-button sensor, the complete electrical installation has a high-quality feel and the operation is also easy and intuitive for those unused to KNX thanks to the large buttons.
