Rosewood Hotel Schloss Fuschl, Salzburg | Austria
Set in the heart of the Austrian Alps, this carefully restored 15th century castle combines traditional elegance, timeless luxury and natural beauty. Designed by the GA Group as an authentic alpine retreat, the resort offers the discerning traveller a high level of comfort in 98 stylishly furnished rooms, including 42 exclusive suites and six cosy chalets.
Originally built in 1461 as a hunting lodge for the Prince Archbishops of Salzburg, Schloss Fuschl has a long history of glittering receptions and important meetings. For centuries, it served as a backdrop for royal hunting parties and became a meeting place for the European nobility. The property has been a luxury hotel since 1947 and has become an internationally renowned retreat. Rosewood Schloss Fuschl has been carefully restored to combine historic elegance with contemporary comfort. Every detail of the redesign pays tribute to the hotel's rich history and the impressive natural scenery of the Salzkammergut.
The hotel's public areas are graced by the castle's historic art collection. Selected materials and design elements make subtle reference to this heritage. The guest rooms and suites at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl are inspired by the tranquil beauty of Lake Fuschl, capturing its ever-changing hues from delicate opal to rich green. The materials used reflect the hotel's origins as a magnificent hunting lodge and combine natural elements with the historic heritage and character of Salzburg. The colours throughout the space mimic the colours of the four seasons, which are reflected in objects such as the hand-painted minibars in each room. The classic LS 990 design in white and antique brass has been chosen for the switches and sockets, and is reflected in the interior design elements.

LS 990 in Antique brass

A prestigious interior derives its appeal from exclusive effects. The design switches in high-grade metal versions satisfy this standard outstandingly well. Cool stainless steel, aluminium or attractive anthracite, chrome or precious gold plating – they lend a special touch wherever the emphasis is on the extra-special. Two variations of genuine brass complement the portfolio: Classic with a bright, softly polished finish, antique suitable for traditional interiors.
LS 990 in white

Thanks to its high quality and clear shape, the LS 990 switch range has already proved its worth for about 50 years. The classic form of this switch with its narrow frame fits harmoniously into any surroundings. Purist elegance in thermosetting plastic or genuine metal lend this series a touch of class. A wide variety of applications are possible thanks to the wide functional spectrum. Thus, architecturally demanding visions can be consistently put into practice. The single to fivefold frames can be fitted horizontally or vertically.
