AS 500 – the versatile one
Simple practicality combined with a comprehensive range of applications: light switches and sockets in the AS 500 switch range are the universal solution for all areas where functionality and reliability play a particular role. Wide variety of uses
The large product palette of the AS 500 fulfills all the demands in private and commercial buildings and also allows the implementation of more challenging electrical installations. Designs in scratch-proof duroplastic and breakproof thermoplastic make the range into a design line that can be used universally. Ideal for a basic installation but also suitable for demanding KNX applications or hospital installations.
AS 500 with SILVERPLUS®
The AS 500 range offers a variety of universal solutions for all areas where the focus is on functionality. We have years of experience in the development of products with antimicrobial properties. The active antimicrobial effect of the special SILVERPLUS® surface has been tested and certified by independent institutes. The devices in the AS 500 range with SILVERPLUS® are resistant to cleaning agents and disinfectants.

AS 500 BREAKPROOF
Simple and robust: the AS 500 BREAKPROOF switch range impresses with its particular resilience. Visually identical to the standard AS 500 range, this robust version in breakproof thermoplastic is, for example, predestined for commercial buildings. The inscription fields are moisture-proof and thus ideally protected from cleaning agents. With only one additional sealing element, they attain the IP 44 level of resistance to sprayed water. Clear and elegant in colouring, the AS 500 BREAKPROOF also uses the versions in white and ivory.
AS 500 SURFACE-MOUNTED
Ideal everywhere where flush mounting is not possible or not wanted: the surface caps for AS 500 already have a moulded design frame so that no additional components are required.
AS 500 in white: certified to Cradle to Cradle
Cradle to Cradle is an approach for a seamless and consistent circular economy. Valuable resources are not wasted but reused. This approach also includes environmentally friendly production and the use of renewable energy. In this way, the biological and technical cycles are included.
Functional diversity
The frames of the AS 500 range can be combined with a multitude of centre plates. These include light switches, sockets for international systems, multimedia connections, universal LED dimmers and KNX push-buttons.
Customisation
With the GRAPHIC TOOL, you can individually design switches, sockets, push-buttons, room controllers and more. The operating elements can be customised online with symbols, text or logos. Whether you use laser engraving, colour printing or labelling inscription fields depends on your personal requirements and the individual product or material.

Frame
The frames for the AS 500 range are available in 1-gang to 5-gang versions, those of the surface-mounted versions in 1-gang to 3-gang. Depending on the structural situation and desired effect in the room, they can be installed horizontally or vertically.

The AS 500 switch range offers a wide spectrum of solutions for all building technology systems.
