JUNG HOME Pucks

The seven new JUNG HOME Pucks enable simple and budget-conscious extension of the electrical installation.
The Pucks switch and dim lighting, move blinds, shutters and awnings, control cooling and heating applications, measure energy use or switch electrical loads. Every Puck has two, separately usable, binary inputs. Furthermore, the portfolio gets a battery-operated Puck, that offers further application possibilities, such as polling window contacts. The low height simplifies installation in flush-mounted and electronics boxes, cavity wall boxes behind push-buttons, baldachins, false ceilings, roller shutter housings or in the distribution box.

Switches lighting and common household devices using two independently usable channels. Particularly suitable for controlling two separate lighting circuits for example, or a combination of lighting control and heating application. Two binary inputs for switches/push-buttons or 230 V signals.

The JUNG HOME Pucks make it particularly easy to get started with a smart home. These small devices are fitted directly behind existing switches or in flush-mounted boxes. Once installed, they take over smart control, without the need for any additional wiring.

Depending on the type, a single Puck can:

All devices connect to each other via Bluetooth® Mesh. No server or internet connection is required – the system operates entirely locally and securely.

The JUNG switch actuator puck is the simplest solution for this. It is fitted behind the existing switch and can:

  •     switch lights on and off
  •     optionally measure energy consumption
  •     be controlled via an app, scenes or timers

Technically, the Puck offers high power reserves (up to 16 A resistive load, active power up to 3680 W). This makes it suitable for almost all standard lighting situations – without the need for new cables or complex modifications.

Yes. With the various Puck models from JUNG, you can set up a complete smart home system:

Up to 60 devices can work together in a mesh network. All functions - lighting, blind shading, and heating - are controlled centrally in the JUNG HOME app and combined into scenes. 

That’s where the JUNG HOME blind actuator puck comes in. It is fitted behind the existing roller shutter switch and instantly turns your existing installation into a smart one.

Once installed, you can:

  •     Raise and lower the blinds via the app
  •     Set automatic timers (up to 16 per device)
  •     Astro function for sunrise and sunset
  •     Lock and safety functions such as wind alarm

The existing push-buttons can still be used, whilst the convenience of smartphone control is added. JUNG HOME Pucks also offer an elegant awning control system – smart and simple.

By combining heating control, shading and timers in shared scenes, you can avoid unnecessary running times and thereby significantly reduce your energy bills.

A decentralised system such as JUNG HOME can do exactly that and is therefore particularly well suited to saving energy. With the help of JUNG HOME Pucks, a range of options are available to address this precisely:

  •     Heating can be controlled according to a schedule and as required

JUNG HOME, in combination with JUNG HOME Pucks, is ideal for this purpose. They operate entirely locally without a server, are installed directly into the existing in-wall box, and can be easily set up via an app. Communication takes place securely via Bluetooth Mesh, so no additional control center is required. The result is a streamlined solution focused on the essentials, which is particularly well-suited for small and medium-sized retrofit projects.

It is in older buildings in particular that the JUNG HOME Pucks really come into their own:
