JUNG SCHUKO® sockets for interior spaces

Electricity makes life convenient
So that you can use electricity safely, there are our SCHUKO® sockets. High-quality contact springs inside the sockets ensure your safety in daily use. They reliably enclose the SCHUKO® plug and thus ensure that the protective earthing takes effect before the current flows.
Tested safety
Every new socket is tested multiple times during production for functionality and quality. Our high quality standards require SCHUKO® sockets to withstand twice as many repeated plug insertions as required by the standard. SCHUKO® sockets with the "Safety Plus" designation are equipped with an integrated shutter for increased safety.
Safety Plus: SCHUKO® socket with shutter
JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with enhanced contact protection (shutter) offer more safety. An internal locking mechanism, the shutter, reduces the risk of contact with conductive parts. The shutter is a fixed part of the socket and cannot be removed. Naturally, all JUNG SCHUKO® sockets are also VDE tested with the "Safety Plus" designation.

SCHUKO® sockets with RCD
In the bathroom, in the kitchen or in the covered swimming pool: The SCHUKO® socket with RCD provides protection when it matters. The integrated residual current device detects so-called residual currents and disconnects the monitored circuit from the rest of the power network within milliseconds. SCHUKO® sockets with RCD from JUNG are ideal for retrofitting in older buildings - particularly where there is no possibility for intervention in the sub-distribution.

Easy installation
We have simplified installation for the installer with many details in the SCHUKO® sockets. The compact base design makes a significant contribution to this. This provides a better view into the flush-mounted box and of the cable material. Our SCHUKO® sockets are available in plastics such as thermoplastic or duroplastic, in metal versions such as aluminium, stainless steel or brass and in various colours from white to black. In addition, we offer versions with a hinged lid and USB ports.

WG 800 | WG 600 | AP 600
Splash-proof and robust: our WG 800 and WG 600 surface-mounted ranges are intended for use in cellars and garages, attics and terraces. The robust plastic housing of the surface-mounted socket meets the IP44 standard, retains its protective function even at low temperatures and is predestined for use in protected outdoor areas. The AP 600 surface-mounted range is ideal for new installation and retrofitting in dry interiors: on concrete, wood or exposed masonry.

LS CUBE
LS CUBE is the surface-mounted version of our classic LS 990 switch. JUNG e-bike SCHUKO® socket
The marking on the green cover clearly indicates that this surface-mounted socket is reserved for e-bikes and e-scooters. As a result, you find the right place for the next charge of electricity straightaway. Thanks to IP44 degree of protection, the wall box is ideally suited for use in protected outside areas. Splash water and for example sand contamination cannot harm the socket. The integrated locking mechanism also secures the socket as it protects against unauthorized use by third parties. SCHUKO® socket with LED floor pilot light

As the inventor of the SCHUKO® socket with pilot light, we have continuously optimised this concept. The result is an LED light integrated flush into the design cover and with a defined, downward shining light cone. The socket with pilot light is available in the JUNG switch ranges of the A and LS design ranges.
Discrete design
The socket base with integrated LED floor pilot light fits flush onto the design cover. The neutral white LED shines downwards and achieves a homogenous light distribution across the entire surface of the lens. Sockets with LED floor pilot light provide on the one hand a safe, non-glare orientation in the dark and on the other a uniquely stringent look. They are available in numerous colours in the JUNG ranges.
Illuminate according to need
The LED socket with pilot light optionally has an integrated brightness sensor. When the environmental light falls below a specified threshold value, the LED illuminates the socket. As a result, the LED only shines when the light is needed. An important factor in properties where no pilot light is needed or wanted during daylight.
LED floor pilot light
LED floor pilot lights are also available without a socket. Matching the JUNG switch ranges, they provide stylish light accents on stairs and in corridors. The integrated brightness sensor activates the light source at twilight and switches it off again as soon as it is dawn.

SCHUKO® sockets with USB ports

The JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with USB ports swiftly recharge all batteries. The devices are available with the USB type-A and type-C sockets. Like all other SCHUKO® sockets, these are of course also "Made in Germany" and VDE-certified.

USB chargers

Smartphone, Bluetooth® headphones and a smart watch as well: mobile devices need energy. Our USB chargers provide a charging capacity of 15 or 60 watt and integrate ideally into the electrical installation. Snap-on covers allow a flat and harmonious design and thus fit very well into multiple frames alongside conventional SCHUKO® sockets.
Charger with 60 watt power delivery
The USB PD 60 supports USB Power Delivery 3.0 with Programmable Power Supply (PPS), Quick Charge 4+ and manufacturer standards such as Huawei FastCharge protocol (FCP) and SuperCharge protocol (SCP), and Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging (AFC). The chargers are also compatible with the A, CD and LS ranges. 

Since end of 2024, USB-C connections will be compulsory for many new devices. With the new USB PD 60 charger, we offer a space-saving solution for charging batteries of up to 60 watt.

International sockets

Connections in accordance with country-specific standards
Other countries, other plug types. For worldwide use, we provide standardised sockets for country-specific plugs and power supplies. Numerous international connection modes are available thanks to the JUNG modular system. Every individual socket takes account of the respective regional requirements. The international sockets from JUNG can be implemented in virtually all design ranges – they can also be combined in multiple frames. This makes a uniform design possible.

G + I socket

The JUNG multistandard G + I socket is impressive: it combines the British type G plug with the type I plug that is widely used in Australia, China and Argentina and other countries. It thus covers the connection options of over a third of all countries worldwide. In combination with a SCHUKO® socket, it is even over 75 percent. Germany's largest testing company DEKRA attested optimum safety for the JUNG multistandard G + I socket. The following standards have been tested: IEC60884-1: 2002 + A1: 2006 + A2: 2013 and BS1363-2: 1995 + A4: 2012.

Combinability of bedside and deskside panels

If the G + I socket is installed in a wall box according to DIN VDE, combinations in one-gang to five-gang frames are possible. This results in numerous combination and function options, such as installation together with a network connection, USB charger or SCHUKO® socket with hinged lid.

British Standard 2-gang
For the installation of a 2-gang wall box in the British Standard system, JUNG offers various 2-gang sockets with a large supporting frame. Modern design for dual electrical installation: JUNG makes a special appearance possible in interior design with the A 550, A FLOW or LS-DESIGN ranges.

British Standard with adapter supporting frame
With this method, installers can install versatile building technology, without extensive restoration work or a reconfiguration of the electrical installation under the plaster. With the adapter supporting frame you can install components such as the JUNG USB socket or an F 40 push-button and much more. The adapter supporting frame compensates for the different dimensions between wall box and insert.

In accordance with DIN VDE standard
The DIN standard of VDE allows high flexibility. This means that installers can implement an individual electrical installation in a new construction. With the normal rounded flush-mounted boxes in Germany or with the rectangular wall boxes, they can use all JUNG products from conventional switch inserts up to smart KNX push-buttons.

Technical details

In JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with the "Safety Plus" designation, the shutter provides additional safety. It is part of the cover of the socket and is intended to remain closed until a plug for the intended use is inserted. In this way, improper or erroneous use, such as inserting items other than plugs, can be prevented. As a result, the shutter provides enhanced contact protection in the best way possible and reduces the risk that people with conductive items come into contact with the socket and as a result possibly get an electric shock.

All sockets with the "Safety Plus" designation are equipped with an integrated shutter and, with further design measures, fulfil the more demanding, enhanced safety requirements of DIN standard VDE 0620:2021-02. This means they meet the current technological standards.
Safety Plus – enhanced safety using a shutter
With an integrated shutter, we give the JUNG sockets extra safety. The shutter reduces the risk of making direct contact with live parts. Furthermore, the USB ports fulfil the increased, safety-relevant requirements of DIN standard VDE 0620:2021-02 and thus meet the current technological standards.
Tested to the highest safety standards
JUNG SCHUKO® sockets with USB port are certified by the German VDE (Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies). The VDE approval certifies product quality at the latest state of technology and safe use in accordance with the increased test criteria of VDE. Ideal for cafés, hairdressing salons, hotels or, of course, in your own four walls and in the office – wherever you need new energy for your smartphone or tablet quickly: the version with JUNG Quick Charge® has either a single USB-A or USB-C port and provides electric power of 18 watt.
