JUNG switch ranges

JUNG began in 1912 with the invention and production of a light switch. Today, our brand is valued throughout the world as a guarantee for reliable first-class quality products. Our design is governed by a simple principle: Timelessness. Adding a modern touch with their clear form and tactile feel, our switch ranges harmoniously fit into any interior.

Surface mounting

Splashproof and robust
The robust JUNG surface-mounted range is intended to be used in cellars, garages, attics, and in outdoor settings. Their qualities make them a suitable option for electrical installation in cases where ambient conditions are unideal or where functionality and ease of installation are a priority.
Versatile and compact
The AP 600 is ideal for new installations and retrofitting onto surfaces such as concrete, wood and exposed brickwork. With the flame-retardant symbol, it can also be installed on flammable surfaces.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions about: Switch Ranges

In high-end commercial projects, the light switch is often the only element of the building’s technical control system that users touch on a daily basis. The demands placed on quality, feel and design are correspondingly high. JUNG’s high-quality designer switches meet these requirements thanks to the authenticity of their materials and their first-class feel. JUNG’s premium solutions utilise exquisite materials such as solid aluminium, robust stainless steel and glass. Furthermore, the 63 variants of the plastic switches are hand-painted in a matt finish in a licensed shade from Le Corbusier®’s Les Couleurs® range. Users recognise this quality not only in the appearance, but also in the feel of the surface with every touch.

  • Precision at the switching point: JUNG switches are designed to provide a precise switching feel and deliver clearly calibrated tactile and audible feedback. Whether a classic rocker switch or a modern push-button switch – the mechanism is designed so that the actuation point remains consistent over time and does not lose any of its quality even after intensive use.
  • Architectural consistency: In commercial and institutional buildings, a switch range must integrate seamlessly into the design. JUNG offers flush-mounted solutions, coordinated colour schemes and a consistent design language. The Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® colour palette enables technology to be integrated specifically into architectural colour concepts.
  • Durability and modularity: The frames of JUNG’s high-quality switches are designed to ensure compatibility with newly developed inserts and covers. The surfaces are characterised by their resistance to cleaning agents and their robustness – a crucial quality feature ensuring that the design retains its elegant appearance even with heavy use.

The clean, timeless design language of JUNG’s switch ranges and series is combined with an exceptional variety of materials and functions. Switch series such as the LS 990 or the flush-mounted LS ZERO variant are well established internationally. They are the preferred choice for projects where the switches are intended to blend into the architecture or even form an integral part of the design. For projects seeking to combine a classic or historic feel with modern comfort, the LS 1912 toggle switch also provides distinctive design highlights.

As a modern and versatile alternative, the A series – with A CREATION or A FLOW – offers individual accents, whether through striking glass frames or a minimalist, flowing design in high-quality plastic.

JUNG’s switch ranges can be installed in the traditional way and later converted into a smart home system with minimal effort. That is exactly what JUNG HOME is for. The system enables:

  • Standard installation based on 230 volts
  • Retrofitting without additional cabling
  • Networking via the widely recognised Bluetooth® Mesh standard
  • Operation without a server or internet connection

This means that today, you can install traditional JUNG switches, which can later be replaced or upgraded with smart inserts without altering the design.

Expert tip for planning: When planning your electrical installation, make sure to include deep flush-mounted boxes (apparatus boxes) right from the start. This will provide the necessary space later on to conveniently position the smart JUNG HOME Pucks or actuators behind the switch. The slightly higher-quality box will pay off in the long run – especially if no additional modification work is required when adapting the electrical installation.

JUNG LS ZERO enables seamless, architecturally clean integration – minimalist in design yet technically fully flexible. This consistently flush-mounted system offers the following advantages:

  • Switches and sockets that are integrated flush with the wall
  • Transitions are barely visible
  • The switch blends perfectly into the wall’s appearance

This system is frequently used in existing buildings as well as in modern new builds with smooth walls, exposed concrete or high-quality materials. With the appropriate flush-mounted boxes and the correct installation accessories, very neat, virtually invisible installations can be achieved. This also applies to existing buildings, for example in the context of renovations and modernisations. This makes JUNG LS ZERO particularly attractive for minimalist architecture and high-quality interiors.

For distinctive surfaces such as exposed concrete, wood or existing walls in old buildings, JUNG’s versatile and particularly robust switch ranges are the ideal choice.

  • LS 990 in metal: For exposed concrete, the brass, aluminium or stainless steel variants are ideal. Depending on the aesthetic of the concrete, these high-quality metal finishes complement it perfectly.
  • LS 990 in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®: This is the most exclusive option for colour-oriented architectural concepts. Thanks to the hand-applied matt lacquer, the colours appear true to life, as the surfaces do not reflect the colours of their surroundings. The 63 shades can thus be perfectly matched to historic wall colours in old buildings or the cool character of exposed concrete, and used to create colour accents.
  • LS 1912: These toggle switches are visually ideal for renovating older properties. The design is reminiscent of historic switches, yet features state-of-the-art technology inside.
  • A FLOW: Thanks to its gently rounded shape, this range has a softer, harmoniously timeless look. It is ideal if you are looking for a gentle transition in a period property or with natural wood surfaces, rather than opting for sharp edges.
  • A 550: This range focuses on the essentials. With its very clean, linear look, it creates an exciting, minimalist contrast to rustic wood surfaces or uneven brickwork.
  • LS CUBE, as a surface-mounted variant, is ideal for loft flats as well as for concrete or natural stone walls. This reduces the installation effort and enables a quick, efficient and visually high-quality installation without interfering with the existing architecture.
  • AP 600 (surface-mounted solution): In lofts with exposed concrete walls, where cables are not to be concealed within the plaster, the technical ‘industrial look’ of these switches emphasises the character of the building.

As well as offering high-quality design, the existing fit-out can now be effortlessly combined with contemporary smart home technology. JUNG HOME Pucks are ideal, particularly in older buildings subject to heritage protection regulations, as they equip existing installations with smart functions. Here, you can use the existing sockets and simply retrofit them with smart technology. In addition, JUNG offers modern product solutions for older buildings, such as dimmers, sockets, motion detectors and multimedia, without detracting from the historic appearance.

  1. Choose a consistent system from JUNG: the frames, switches and functions should all be from the same range to allow for future expansion. JUNG’s ranges are modular, meaning that additional functions can be easily added at a later date and even the entire switch range can be replaced.
  2. Future-proof technology: Anyone planning to install smart home functions should ensure compatibility with KNX or JUNG HOME. This ensures that the desired technology can be easily integrated and expanded at a later date.
  3. Consider the installation method: Should the installation be conventional or flush-mounted? This determines the choice of product range (e.g. LS ZERO). The depth of the existing flush-mounted box should also be taken into account, as some solutions require more space within the box.
  4. Consider the area of use: For damp rooms, outdoor areas or properties subject to heavy wear and tear, devices and switches must be used in robust, moisture-protected versions. This is achieved with JUNG solutions when combined with a sealing gasket.
  5. Consider sustainability: As one of the pioneers in the electrical installation sector, JUNG consistently adheres to the cradle-to-cradle principle. This ensures that, at the end of their life cycle, products do not become waste but can be returned to the material cycle as valuable raw materials.

With JUNG, you can meet the requirements outlined above – you receive a comprehensive range of switches for the entire building.
