LS 990 in white - certified Cradle-to-Cradle
Cradle-to-Cradle is an approach entailing a seamless and consistent circular economy where valuable resources are not wasted but reused. This also includes using an environmentally friendly production process and renewable energy. All materials used are either disposed naturally without harming the environment or returned to the technical cycle to be recycled and reused.
LS 990 with SILVERPLUS®
Whenever a large number of people are gathered, there is a high risk of infection posed by bacteria, viruses and other germs. Alongside switches in sockets with antimicrobial surfaces from SILVERPLUS® technology, motion detectors and other building control products ensure that even electrical installation products meet hygiene standard practices.
LS 990 with SILVERPLUS® combines timeless design with an active antimicrobial effect, while also being naturally resistant to cleaning agents and disinfectants.

Functional diversity
The frames for the LS 990 range can be combined with all centre plates from the JUNG LS range. These include light switches, sockets for international systems, multimedia connections, universal LED dimmers and KNX push-buttons.
Duroplastic: quality that endures
Duroplastic is characterised by its particularly high strength, surface hardness and heat resistance. It is scratch resistant, halogen-free and suitable for sophisticated products. LS 990 in white was the first among the LS 990 range to be constructed using high-quality duroplastic, and is the most widely used version to date. More colours were then added to this range, including black, light grey, as well as matt graphite black and matt snow white.
Thanks to the properties of duroplastic, even regular disinfection has no effect on the colour of the material, and they remain pure for a lifetime.
Customisation
With the GRAPHIC TOOL, you can individually design switches, sockets, KNX push-buttons, room controllers and more. The operating elements can be customised online with symbols, text or logos. Whether you use laser engraving, colour printing or labelling inscription fields depends on your personal requirements and the individual product or material.

Frame
The frames for the LS 990 range are available in 1-gang to 5-gang versions. Depending on the structural situation and desired effect in the room, they can be installed horizontally or vertically.
Cover hood for LS 990
The transparent cover hood protects mounted switches, sockets, toggle switches, rotary dimmers and many other products from LS 990 ranges from contamination and damage on the building site.
The cover hood has a range of uses and ensures reliable functionality and an undamaged surface of the switch. It is simply pushed on and can be removed without a sign it was there. The material can be fully recycled. Available for 1-gang to 3-gang.
