The JUNG GRAPHIC TOOL

PRINTING
Two procedures to achieve high-quality prints
When printing on JUNG components, we opt for either of two procedures: pad printing and colour printing. The former is an indirect rotogravure procedure where the colour is transferred from the printing plate to the switch with an elastic pad made of silicon rubber. The image is transferred to the printing plate with a positive film (known as an offset film or matte film). The advantage of this print transfer is the plasticity of the pad. With this, the printing of curved surfaces (convex, concave or grainy) is possible when transferring the image to the printing plate. The transfer of colour onto the printing substrate is complete because to the silicon oil of the pad. In addition, different sizes in a wide variety of colours can be printed, although only one colour can be printed at a time. Pad printing is particularly suited to large volumes and has a particular effect on dark surfaces.
Colour printing complements pad printing where the desired volumes are relatively low. Even for single items, colour printing can be economical with our ink-jet process. Furthermore, dynamic images can be achieved with colour printing along with the possibility of various types of individual design, such as complex colour gradients. In the process, the image is transferred from a computer to a printing machine without needing a static image. In the subsequent thermal curing process, the ink penetrates the printed material. Colour printing is particularly suitable for light surfaces.
LASERING
Laser engraving for an exquisite touch
Switches with a specific name or an image, a KNX push-button with the respective functionality or a socket with the relevant circuit name - laser engraving gives products an individual note. Almost every design can be applied to the widest variety of materials with the help of laser engraving. However, this procedure cannot be done on all products as the high-precision laser beam heats the material very strongly, and suitability must be first determined. This engraving is permanent and very resistant to abrasion.
LABELLING
Individually design devices with inscription fields
For KNX F 50 push-buttons with a centre inscription field, we provide the tools and platform needed to individually prepare texts, symbols and motifs, which can also be in colour, to be specified. After preparation, you may use your own printer to simply print the created labels on paper or foil, which can then be cut to size and placed behind inscription fields.
