LS 1912 in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®

Puristic design, varied colours: the JUNG toggle switch LS 1912 in the cylinder version in metal is now likewise available in the 63 colours of Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®.
That opens up a wide range of design possibilities. In this way, a coherent overall picture arises in the room, where the electrical installation with LS 1912 inserts itself visually into the colour scheme and the style of the interior. The hand lacquered toggle switches are produced to order. The delivery time is approx. ten weeks after receipt of order.

Colour overview

All 63 colours used for our switch range are tested and approved by the licenser, Les Couleurs Suisse AG. In order to faithfully reproduce the impressive colour depth, the LS 1912 switch is hand lacquered using a special process. This creates the special matt surface.

The extensive colour ranges

Le Corbusier created his system of architectural colours as a tool for architects, interior designers and designers. His timeless colour palettes have not lost any of their charm even after 90 years.

The 1931 colour palette includes 43 colours in 14 series. Each series consists of one solid colour and up to four graduated brightened variants. The original code of the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours starts with "32xxx", and each unique colour is identified by its last three digits. In addition, Le Corbusier created twelve colour keyboards, each able to create different atmospheric moods.

In 1959, Le Corbusier expanded the Polychromie Architecturale with 20 more intense colours and an additional colour keyboard. Le Corbusier's extraordinary experience as an architect and painter is also reflected in this combination of colourful and achromatic shades with different brightness values from the previous 43 colours.

Background knowledge about the Polychromie Architecturale

Functional diversity

The frames for the LS 1912 Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® range can be combined with all centre plates in the JUNG LS range. These include light switches, sockets for international systems, multimedia connections, universal LED dimmers and KNX push-buttons.

Functional diversity

LS 1912 unifies excellent design with functional diversity and can be used as a switch, push-button or multi push-button. Mounting is possible in all versions with multiple frames both horizontally and vertically.
Switch
LS 1912 switches the lighting by operating the toggle lever downwards (switch on) or upwards (switch off). The toggle lever remains in the switched position.
Push-button
If the LS 1912 is installed as a toggle push-button, the toggle lever automatically returns to the original position after switching the lighting on and off.
Multi-switch push-button
The multi push-button insert extends LS 1912 by an additional toggle switch position. When the upper or lower switch position is operated, two contacts are closed simultaneously. This makes the LS 1912 with multi push-button insert particularly suited as a control push-button for relay connections. This makes blind control with slat adjusting possible, for example.

LS 1912 becomes a KNX control unit

Integration of classic design with advanced control possibilities: the LS 1912 toggle switch becomes a toggle push-button. This solution combines the aesthetic effect of the range with smart functions and enables versatile use in intelligent building automation technology.
LS 1912 as KNX push-button
With the multi push-button insert and the KNX push-button interface, the LS 1912 becomes a KNX control unit. The combination of the devices covers many functions. For mounting behind the flush-mounted insert, a deep installation box is necessary. With LS 1912 as a KNX push-button, smart functions can be harmoniously integrated into a classic ambience. Mounting in multiple combinations is possible.

Frames

The frames of the LS 1912 in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® switch range are available in 1-gang to 5-gang versions. Depending on the desired effect in the room, they can be installed horizontally or vertically.

Systems

The LS 1912 switch range provides a wide range of solutions for all building control systems.
JUNG HOME
The system smartifies every building - no server, no Internet and no hammer drill. It is based on the conventional 230-volt installation. With this, every home, whether old or new, already fulfills the requirements for a digital infrastructure.
KNX
For more convenience, security and energy management: with the KNX system, numerous functions can be intelligently networked together, visualised and centrally controlled. KNX is the standardised, future-proof technology for a professional smart home.
LB Management
The base system for light, shade and temperature control. Flush-mounted inserts and centre plates used in LB Management form the basic installation that can be extended at any time. Needs-based and user friendly.
