A two-storey retreat in the heart of uptown Petaling Jaya has been converted by the interior designers from Pride Studio with the goal of optimally using the space and of promoting the love of the owners for art.
On entering the home, you are received into a redesigned, narrow internal courtyard, which is bathed in natural light from a skylight. This inviting space receives the guests and prepares them for the artistic journey awaiting them inside the home. Carefully curated walls and corners in the home serve as special presentation surfaces for the personal Asiatic art collection of the owner. The home itself becomes a backdrop on which art and architecture harmoniously combine into an individual retreat. The artworks are not simply decoration, they are an integral component of the living space that inspires and enlivens the everyday surroundings. In addition, the selection of the switches and sockets from the LS 990 range in brass and the selected KNX system with the F 50 push-buttons also match. The spatial effect continues upwards, where a secret garden awaits on the roof. This hidden paradise offers an oasis of peace, ideal for relaxing or for creative activities. The roof garden has a variety of plants that not only contribute to the beauty of the building, they also convey a feeling of peace and seclusion. Up here, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the residents can enjoy nature and stock up with new energy.

KNX F 50 push-button sensors
Form meets function in the designs in the AS, A, CD, and LS ranges. The optional transparent or coloured design cover, the RGB LEDs for indicating status and operation as well as the illuminated integrated labelling field with brightness control round off the design concept.
LS 990 in Classic brass
A prestigious interior derives its appeal from exclusive effects. The design switches in high-grade metal versions satisfy this standard outstandingly well. Cool stainless steel, aluminium or attractive anthracite, chrome or precious gold plating – they lend a special touch wherever the emphasis is on the extra-special. Two variations of genuine brass complement the portfolio: Classic with a bright, softly polished finish, antique suitable for traditional interiors.
