Presence detection

The hands-free option for saving energy
When you are not at home, many appliances such as audio systems and televisions will still continue to consume power even in stand-by mode. Avoid this and save energy with a demand-based presence detection system. You won't have to lift a finger, because the technology autonomously detects when power or lighting is required.
eNet wall-mounted transmitters alert appliances when you are at home
With modern smart home solutions such as the eNet wall-mounted transmitter, every appliance will save energy at the touch of a button. The presence detector sends the relevant information to all the appliances connected to the server. Lights are turned off, sockets power down, and smart thermostats reduce room temperatures.
KNX push-buttons activate lights, appliances and heating
With just one press of the KNX push-button synced with presence detection, your lights, radiators, and even kitchen appliances will operate according to a pre-configured program. This is made possible with a Smart Visu Server function that encompasses all devices to achieve a high level of efficiency and flexibility.
Motion detectors select lighting with the appropriate level of brightness
Motion detectors installed at switch-height means you have light whenever you need it. Additional functions ensure even more energy efficiency, e.g. the switches dim the lighting at night while also automatically adjusting the shut-off delay according to your presence times, thereby reducing your power consumption. Other available functions include an alarm setting and a presence simulation function. You can conveniently configure the main functions via the smartphone app and Bluetooth interface.
Smart presence detectors activate a number of lights in the house
Classic presence detectors are wire-connected, and are designed for activating/deactivating individual appliances. In contrast, modern smart home solutions supplied by JUNG are different. Simply retrofit battery-powered products such as the eNet ceiling detector to effortlessly switch multiple lights on and off. For example, by connecting lights to the detectors, all the lights in the entrance area, hall and stairwell will switch on as you move around your house.
Presence detectors ensure enough light is provided whenever needed
Providing you with an ample amount of light in your rooms, halls and stairways while keeping the act of switching lights off your mind - presence detectors conveniently assist you in your daily activities. Settings such as shut-off delay, sensitivity, and automatic programmes such as presence simulation can be configured to your own individual requirements.
KNX presence detectors combine convenience with efficiency
Presence detectors allow you to maximise the possibilities available from a KNX home automated setup. With a room-by-room installation, they ensure that your home is always at the right temperature, turn on lights and sockets when you need them, while fully automatically ensuring that lighting conditions remain stable. Sensors dim the lighting automatically, so that the brightness doesn't change throughout the day. With this, you can enjoy the utmost levels of efficiency in home and functional building settings.

Off-grid consumption

Gain greater independence and save on costs
By utilising the power generated by your photovoltaic system, which harnesses renewable energy, and this emits less CO2, you can achieve a high level of independence in reducing costs and your carbon footprint. These are all easily achieved with an intelligent domestic control system, which detects excess available power and automatically activates the appliances in your home.
Heat domestic water with photovoltaic system and heating rod
By using a battery storage system, you are able to use power from your photovoltaic system instead of your electrical grid whenever possible. When the accumulator is full and the sun continues to deliver free energy, an intelligent home control system can transfer surplus power to a hot water storage system. This can be performed using the JUNG Visu Pro Server SENEC Edition. Alongside the solar yield and current electrical load, it also monitors the accumulator's charging level. If there is a surplus of energy available, it will directly transfer this to the electrical heating cartridges in the hot water storage system.
Boost your off-grid consumption with an air conditioning control
An intelligent home control system can operate numerous electrical loads if there is a surplus of available power, including air conditioning systems. These appliances function like refrigerators and utilise electrical energy to transfer heat out of your home. If the battery storage is fully charged, the JUNG Visu Pro Server SENEC Edition can help to reduce the room temperature, using solar energy and boosting your off-grid consumption. This is possible by combining the JUNG Visu Pro Server SENEC Edition with a KNX room thermostat.
Warm your home with SG-Ready heat pumps and solar power
Combine an SG-Ready heat pump with a photovoltaic system and an intelligent domestic control system and create your own largely self-sufficient power and heat supply. The heat pump harnesses free ambient heat energy for domestic heating and hot water supply, increasing your degree of self-sufficiency and allowing you to reduce your heating costs. The heat pump is powered by electricity. The JUNG Visu Pro Server SENEC Edition connects your solar power via a KNX switch actuator whenever there is available surplus solar power. If heat pumps have a cooling mode, it can also be operated when cooling is needed with environmentally-friendly accumulated solar power.
Utilise energy for your electric car
With a roof-mounted photovoltaic system, you can also use your domestically produced power for your electric vehicles, reducing emissions, saving energy costs, and increasing your off-grid consumption. It's all made possible by the JUNG Visu Pro Server SENEC Edition, which automatically activates your electric car's charging station wherever sufficient energy becomes available.

Ventilation control

Ventilate effectively and automatically while saving energy
Ventilation systems supply fresh air to your living space, remove pollutants, and help to control the humidity within the home. With an automatic ventilation system, central and decentralised systems work according to your need. They provide optimal air exchange while consuming only the required amount of energy, saving you on energy costs. Without lifting a finer, you enjoy enhanced levels of comfort while being perfectly protected against mould.
Automatic control unit activates ventilators when needed
An efficient ventilation control system automatically responds to the air quality in the room, monitoring the CO2 content, the temperature and the relative humidity using our CO2 sensors. Only when the humidity exceeds the pre-set threshold, for example when showering, does the control switch on the fan. This allows you to optimally protect your home against mould, while reducing your energy costs – whether it be with new or existing systems. Many ventilators can also be retrofitted with a control unit.
Use a vent control unit to ventilate your living spaces
An automatic ventilation control unit is a convenient and energy-efficient way to channel fresh air into your living spaces as it responds to the CO2 content in the indoor air. This ensures that your air quality is consistently good while only using as much energy as necessary. By means of a KNX switch actuator, you can integrate your ventilation control unit with any ventilation appliance. As an alternative to a CO2 sensor, you can use a speed regulator to manually adjust the ventilation performance and consumption precisely to your personal requirements.

Shutter control

Increasing the comfort level in your home with apt shades
Shutters and blinds fulfil a wide range of tasks. They shield against prying eyes, provide shade, and help to create a desired ambience. However, manual operation can be a tedious chore, and can only be done from home. With a shutter control, you can open and close exterior shutters and blinds at particular times or depending on weather conditions from wherever you are, allowing you to enjoy greater convenience.
Control individual shutters on a time-sensitive basis
By lowering your shutters in the afternoon, you are not just blocking out prying eyes - you also shield your home from unwanted light rays and heat from the sun. The time-sensitive control system ensures comfort in your home, simply by combining electric exterior shutters, blinds or awnings with an intelligent switch. The switch can then be programmed exactly how you want it via Bluetooth over your smartphone to raise the shutters at sunrise and lower them at noon.
Provide shade to your living space, automatically and effortlessly
The sun shining unobstructed through windows causes buildings to heat up considerably. Although air-conditioning systems are able to lower temperatures, they consume a great deal of power. A more cost-effective and efficient solution is to have an automatic rolling shutter control unit. If you enhance it with a brightness sensor, this technology will automatically provide your home with shade. When the sun is at its highest peak, shutters, blinds and awnings are automatically lowered. If you want to further extend the functional scope of your shutter control, connect the Bluetooth timer effortlessly and wirelessly with a battery-powered brightness sensor.
Use a shutter control system to operate multiple windows
If you have a large number of windows, it is advisable to use a central shutter control system so that opening and closing times only need to be set once. For every group of shutters you want to operate simultaneously, you can install an additional switch with an operating unit. If you also combine the group switch with a brightness sensor, all the connected elements will automatically open or close, depending on the levels of brightness determined. In addition, a JUNG weather station enables you to centrally operate the smart-controlled shutters located on different sides of the building. You need less technology, while saving a considerable amount of money.
Control the shutters in your smart home individually
With the eNet SMART HOME, you can enjoy the benefits of an automatic shutter control system with an extensive range of functions. Program your shutter control system effortlessly and centrally via your smartphone, tablet or PC. Remotely monitor the current status or configure automatic time sequences to simulate your presence at home. All these are possible with an eNet server that communicates with the radio control buttons of your exterior shutters or blinds. A brightness sensor also means you benefit from intelligent light and shade control system. The sensors are fitted on the inside of a window on each facade of the building, before you create a fully encrypted radio link to the eNet server.

Single-room control

Select temperatures individually for each room according to unique needs
Rooms used at different times, heat increase caused by large number of guests or high losses of energy due to window ventilation – these contribute to heating systems consuming more energy than necessary. A single-room control can assist here by limiting and controlling the temperatures of individual rooms. If you select the optimum temperatures are pre-set for certain times in the day, rooms can be configured to be at a comfortable temperature before use.
Setting the time programme on the room thermostat
Our room thermostats offer the easiest option for single-room control. Use the modern controller's digital display to program heating and cooling times and target temperatures, allowing it to automatically control heating systems or air-conditioning units. These controllers limit heating or cooling during non-use periods depending on season, while ensuring the optimum room temperature is achieved when needed. If you open the windows to ventilate the space, these controllers will detect that. They temporarily turn off the heating or cooling, saving energy.
Automatically switch between heating and cooling
For both heating and cooling - with thermal pumps capable of doing both, the single-room control ensures optimum room temperatures all year round. During winter, heating appliances supply heat to achieve the temperature set on the room thermostat. When outside temperatures begin to rise, the process reverses. Thermal pumps are centrally switched into cooling mode and transfer heat outside. They limit the individual room temperatures, automatically creating a comfortable home climate.
Centralised, remote operation of single-room control system
Modern smart home systems enable the temperature of various rooms to be programmed all via just one app. They control panel heaters and radiators exactly how you want it, while also allowing you to benefit from intelligent functions. This includes automatically switching the heating to economy mode when you're not at home - saving you energy.
Use smart home controls without visible technology
Having a room thermostat in every room is not suitable for every furnishing. With our innovative KNX systems, you can enjoy single-room control without visible technology. This requires unobtrusive temperature sensor switches in each room. A central actuator then allows you to integrate the technology effortlessly into the existing KNX system. Setting temperatures or programming schedules can be easily done via central control units in your smart home.
Operating KNX single-room control
Digital switches and displays also allow full room-specific control. Modify temperatures, lighting scenarios or the positioning of rolling shutters – all very easily via a control-unit installed in the room. From here you also have the option to change all the settings via the central control panels of your KNX system. Equip your living spaces with temperature sensor presence detectors to optimise your single-room control, also saving more energy while doing so.

Smart home heating

Control your heating system to save energy during winter
Is the external temperature outside on the rise, or are your windows open to ventilate your home? In both cases, you can easily reduce the heating output to reduce your energy consumption, save on heating costs and reduce your carbon footprint with a smart home heating system, because it automatically adjusts to the best setting.
Reduce your heating costs with some simple tips
The right tips allow you to make tangible energy consumption reductions during the winter season. For example, if you switch off radiators while ventilating rooms, you will lose less heat. Lower room temperatures allow you to economise while you sleep, and sunlight is a cost-effective way of warming your home. A smart heating control system means you don't have to lift a finger. It detects when your windows are open, sets the thermostat to align with the weather forecast, and ensures a comfortable room temperature.
Effortlessly retrofit smart thermostats
Smart thermostats mean you can enjoy the benefits of smart home heating by simply replacing your old radiator thermostats with electronics devices from tado°. These use the Internet to communicate with your JUNG eNet SMART HOME server to begin continuously controlling the thermal output. An app informs the server whether or not you're at home, reducing room temperatures when you leave your home and increasing the heat again before you return. The smart heating control also detects when windows are opened, automatically responding to current weather reports, and also allowing remote control of the system via the eNet SMART HOME app. You can easily retrofit these wireless technology to existing houses and apartments without any conversion works.
Combine heating and shutter controls
With a KNX system in your home, you can enjoy comfortable temperatures around the clock. These systems control heating panels according to the external temperature and switch to economy mode when individual rooms are warmed up due to sunlight or visitors. If you integrate the shutter control into your smart home alongside your heating control, it will react optimally to the weather conditions. It provides enhanced thermal insulation during colder nights, provides shade or allows sunlight whenever rooms require additional natural heating. Our innovative switches detect the room temperatures and enable the set-point to be changed manually. They also communicate with the heating and shutter actuator. A weather station detects current weather data, allowing your smart home heating to be operating economically.

Smart metering

Record your energy consumption to help you save costs
Do you know how much energy is consumed by your multimedia devices, fridge or washing machine? Are your figures average or are they considerably higher than that? A cutting-edge smart-metering solution gives you the answers simply and in a comprehensible manner. They accurately estimate your consumption data and identify your biggest potential savings. After modernising the building or replacing individual devices, the results, a reduction in energy consumption, will become immediately apparent.
Smart metering for large volume consumers and entire building sections
If it is a matter of recording the consumption values of entire rooms, flats or building sections, the central JUNG radio energy detector REG is the apt solution. This is installed in the main or sub-distribution box of your domestic system where it sends regular fully encrypted messages to the eNet server. This solution negates the need to install numerous individual single sensors while also enabling smart metering for high-output consumer appliances.
Centralised recording of consumption data for multiple appliances
A KNX C-load switch actuator installed in the power distributor allows you to individually read the consumption figures for various appliances. This devices measures the load current via four or eight channels, and relays these values to the in-house KNX system. The figures are processed by a Smart Visu Server, which uses an app to present the values for each end appliance via a display or browser application. If you install a high-performance Visu Pro Server, it will record the smart metering data, generating intelligible graphics for you to track your consumption data anywhere, anytime.
