"Accessible luxury for the people" is the philosophy of citizenM Boutique Hotels, that they have applied since 2008 to bring accessible luxury in the best urban locations throughout the world. Now also in Geneva, where the former office building Maison Bonnet on the Rue de Marché 40 in the centre of the city and close to Lake Geneva has been chosen for the Swiss destination.
The building from the end of the 17th century is one of the last remaining buildings on the street that can provoke attention in the cityscape due to its proportions and the refined decor of the facade facing the interior courtyard. In order to make the lustre of former times perceptible in the hotel again, it was returned to the state before changes made in a restoration in the 1990s. This include the removal of the awning on the Rue de Marché and the exchange of the existing windows with reconstructed, traditional French windows in the original style. Despite being a listed building, it was possible to bring it up to the latest energy standards and it has a haute performance énergétique (HPE) energy certificate.
The idea of a hybrid hotel is tailored to the modern traveller of today. The compact design of the 144 rooms fulfil the design standards of the citizenM hotels with a pleasant ambience. In contrast to the colourful interior of the public areas, the clear design language and material choice direct the gaze to what matters. The equipment with the classic LS 990 in white, black and aluminium inserts itself harmoniously into the open concept – on the wall or integrated into the fittings. However, the heart of the citizenM hotel is the lounge area, which offers space both for work nomads and also for food and drink. The rented spaces on the ground level extend the offering as well as the historic internal courtyard, which is now accessible from the hotel and the shop after the rebuilding.

LS 990 in white
Thanks to its high quality and clear shape, the LS 990 switch range has already proved its worth for about 50 years. The classic form of this switch with its narrow frame fits harmoniously into any surroundings. Purist elegance in thermosetting plastic or genuine metal lend this series a touch of class. A wide variety of applications are possible thanks to the wide functional spectrum. Thus, architecturally demanding visions can be consistently put into practice. The single to fivefold frames can be fitted horizontally or vertically.

Two variations of genuine brass complement the portfolio: Classic with a bright, softly polished finish, antique suitable for traditional interiors.
