G + I socket
With the multistandard G + I socket, we specifically serve the needs of international guests in hotels and restaurants as well as at airports and railway stations.
The JUNG multistandard G + I socket is impressive: it combines the British type G plug with the type I plug that is widely used in Australia, China and Argentina and other countries. It thus covers the connection options of over a third of all countries worldwide. When combined with a SCHUKO® socket, the needs for over 75 percent of countries are met. Germany's largest testing company DEKRA attested optimum safety for the JUNG multistandard G + I socket. The following standards have been tested: IEC60884-1: 2002 + A1: 2006 + A2: 2013 and BS1363-2: 1995 + A4: 2012.
Design
The multistandard G+I Socket is available in the LS range. This allows the socket to be placed with narrow or wide frames and in three different colours: black, ivory and white. The LS range itself offers timeless design to suit any interior style.
Combinability
Guests and travellers from numerous countries can connect their devices with the combination of G + I socket and SCHUKO® in a two-gang frame. The use of SCHUKO® sockets with USB ports enables even greater flexibility - in the version with JUNG Quick Charge® with a particularly high charging capacity.
Combinability of bedside and deskside panels
If the multistandard G + I socket is installed in a wall box according to DIN VDE, combinations in one-gang to five-gang frames are possible. This results in numerous combination and function options, such as installation together with a network connection, USB charger or SCHUKO® socket with hinged lid.
Installation
The multistandard G+I socket can be integrated into DIN VDE outlet boxes, allowing combinations from single to five-fold frames in one outlet box, offering a variety of design options. In addition, the multistandard G+I socket is compatible with British Standard wall boxes, with a support frame measuring 80 x 80 millimetres, making it suitable for regions using British Standard installations.
