Colourful apartment, Vilnius | Lithuania

For the fixtures and fittings in the 3-bedroom apartment in Vilnius, the classic style determined by the surroundings of the building and the design of the common areas was cut through by the architect Rugilė Palevičiūtė with a playful character. The main accent of the interior design is the colours. A nice opportunity for the planner and a reason to bring bright colours into the interior decoration of the home, which breath life into the rooms. Because colour encounters people in every situation of daily life, which is why colours carefully matched to each other can transform spaces into an artistic place full of joy.

A mirror was chosen in the entrance for the wall and door, which provides a view of the living space as soon as you enter the apartment and also provides natural light. The bay in the living area is used for the dining table and to relax with a book on the window seat. The rich colouring is fully exploited in the kitchen, where a strong blue colour from floor to ceiling radiates into the open room depending on the direction of the light. The courage of colour can also be seen in the bathroom. A strong apricot tone leads from the colour of the door to the arch motif over the bath and thus creates a special atmosphere. In the design of the rooms for the apartment, the changed working habits were taken into consideration and multiple comfortable locations for working were created in the home.

No compromises were made in the colour selection for the electrical installation as well. The reduced elements of the LS 990 design range in white and matt graphite black underline the colour effect of the design.
