KNX F 40 push-button – functional diversity with large operating buttons
Great user-friendliness is what the KNX F 40 push-button stands for. Thanks to the large operating areas, the push-button is convenient to use while also offering control of multiple functions with just one switch.
Either matching or contrasting with interior design styles, the KNX F 40 push-button is available in various high-quality materials and in different colours. From aluminium, stainless steel, chrome and gold-coloured to brass, there is something for every interior.
Choosing the right design
The F 40 push-button is available in the LS, A, AS and CD switch series in a wide range of shapes, materials, colours and finishes. It blends harmoniously into any design concept - from classic to modern.
Manual building control
The F 40 push-button can be fitted both through the KNX bus lines or wirelessly with KNX Radio Frequency (RF), giving you the flexibility to place it in the most convenient location. It is also able to be combined with other push-buttons, room thermostats or sockets in a 2-gang or more frame.
F 40 KNX compact room controller
With the KNX compact room controller, lighting, temperature, and blinds can be centrally controlled.
The device has large operating areas that can be imprinted with symbols individually using the JUNG GRAPHICTOOL. The illuminated digital display clearly shows parameters of the room and the current time. In addition, it is possible to expand its functions by adding a universal push-button sensor extension module to include a 1-gang to 4-gang push-button. With the help of the integrated sensor, the compact room controller reliably measures the room temperature.
The advantages at a glance:
- uniform design that matches with the KNX F 40 push-button
- demand-based room temperature control through integrated temperature sensor
- independent control of a second room with an external temperature sensor
- light, shade and temperature control in one device
- good readability from every angle because of its backlit LC display
- cost reduction by up to 30 percent due to individual control of two rooms with a room controller with an extension module
- individual labelling with the JUNG GRAPHICTOOL
For easy recognition
The multitude of functions allocated to the F 40 push-button can be easily identified with the JUNG GRAPHICTOOL via either high-quality laser engraving or colour printing - making operation easy even for new users.
Dual operation modes
The F 40 can be configured to be operated either with a rocker or push-button function. As a rocker, its operation is divided into two operating pressure points to adjust a single basic function. As a push-button, each operating surface can be configured to manage two individual functions.
Smart technology for everyone
Storing information on different scenes, supporting cost-efficient extensions of the electrical installation and embodying an installation-friendly concept: the F 40 push-button impresses installers on the site just as much as the owner in the finished home.
