30 Years of JUNG Asia: Where It All Began, and How Far We’ve Come
Every journey has a starting point and for JUNG Asia, it began in Singapore in 1996.
Back then, Singapore was not yet the centralised hub we know today. It was simply the first step into Asia, a strategic entry point. From this single foothold, JUNG began laying the groundwork for what would eventually grow into one of its most expansive regional networks, covering the largest land area within the organisation.
Over the years, that presence steadily grew. What started as a local operation in Singapore evolved organically as new markets were explored and partnerships were formed across the region - from early expansions into Malaysia and Hong Kong, to growing footprints in Thailand, Taiwan and Indonesia, and more recently, Vietnam in 2023.
With each expansion, Singapore naturally took on a larger role, eventually becoming the central hub and warehouse that supports JUNG’s activities across Asia.

Today, this is anchored by a network of 7 Asia subsidiaries and a strong ecosystem of regional export markets including Australia, Cambodia, India, Maldives, the Philippines and Sri Lanka.
This network is further supported by a 9,708 square-foot warehouse (below images) in Singapore, designed to handle high-volume inventory and enable efficient distribution across the region.

Fun fact:JUNG Asia covers the largest geographical footprint among all JUNG regions - stretching beyond mainland Asia to include locations such as Guam, Fiji, and Timor-Leste. A true reflection of how far-reaching the region has become.
